Wrights Single Fold Satin Fancy Blanket Binding 2" X4-3/4yd, Rainbow

It wasn’t the lavender color I expected. Instead, it was a rainbow. After my initial disappointment, I used it anyway rather than wasting time returning or exchanging. The final result was better than my original visualization and I’m enjoying it very much.

This is adequate blanket binding in that its fold is symmetrical for the most part and the ribbon is well constructed. It doesn't snag when you sew it, and the colors are yummy. However, it is just isn't as soft as I would wish. The edges are even a bit sharp, obviously melted somehow to keep from fraying.

The bright colors surprised me, but it's pretty. It is kind of stiff not soft as I'm used to blanket satin being, that might wash out. Definitely an artificial fiber feel. Otherwise exactly as shown. Sort of an ombre or tie dye look.

Made a blanket with my grand daughter. Easy for a new seamstress to use and the look is professional. Not bad for a 12 year old.

Firm enough to work with when sewing, washes up soft and silky after laundering.

Love it! Exactly what I was looking for. I’m far from and expert sewer but I found this material very easy to work with I took the advice of others and used clips instead of pining it to keep it from getting and runs. I have attached a picture from a project I used it on for my dogs car blanket! Recommend it, was cheaper here on amazon then the big chain craft stores in my area!

Beautiful, for binding knitted blankets, babies need silky edges! Sew with machine zig-zag and check you-tube for folding corners. Have already bought other colours.
