Great Waterfountain! I noticed something that most people hadn’t said. On the side of the pump there is an open and close valve to control the flow. Make sure it’s open or you can burn up your pump and the water height will suck. That’s very important to know! Also would t hurt to add some plumbers tape to the pump where it connects.UPDATE: The pump did go out after 3 days. But I went ahead and ordered a 1600gph pump and replaced the pump and now my waterfall shoots 6 feet in the air continuously. No problems yet! I got lucky and bought this product for half price. So I’m not really out anything in my mind. But my suggestion is that they need to switch the pumps out on these even if it costs a little more for the fountain. Better quality would be worth it. As far as the rest of the parts, they work excellent and the wires to the lights is long. The lights are very neat as well!Update: I wouldn’t say it’s the pumps fault. After learning more, my water had a ton of algae in it. Since then I bought a filter and my water is more clear. I bet it would have lasted longer if it wasn’t in dirty water.

I was skittish about buying this product since I had read reviews where the purchaser said the holes in the fountain's head clog up too quickly.Well I bought two of those wastebaskets made of black metal screen material. Inside one, I laced a filter sock I made from medical stockingette which is used for the torso in making body cast back braces. It is easily obtainable from a medical supply firm or an orthopedist's office where casting of fractures is done. By placing the fountain and motor in the second wastebasket and having that go in the first wastebasket, that will anchor the stockingette filter so all water is filtered by the stockingette. The fountain as sold in Amazon has a spray of about four feet high, but I wanted a higher spray so I bought a Wayne sump pump 1/6 horsepower and easily replaced the much smaller pump motoer that came with this product. Result was I ran the fountain for 6 hours in a pond for a wedding reception and it was a real hit!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m sorry it’s a terrible item. It clogs up every day. I have to pull the whole thing out of the pond. The holes are too small at the top. It just isn’t working. I’ll have to buy a new one from a different company.

Solid product, functional and reliable

Lasts 2 seasons I’m on my 3rd one but looks good in the winter when the pool is not in use. Buy it knowing if you use it frequently it last about 2 years

The media could not be loaded. This fountain works great. My pond was covered in duckweed. After a month of dying the pond blue and circulation from this pump my pond is almost perfect!! It’s simple to use, has an easy to just flow valve and a long waterproof power cord. I’m running mine off of 200 watt solar, 12volt 35 amp gel battery and a 750 watt inverter. It hasn’t died once. It’s been 20 degrees this week here in Crocket Texas. And, the circulation has definitely helped the pond to keep from Icing over.

We love the fountain when it works. We’ve purchased two in 3 years and while they work, they are great. The last one we placed in our pond in June. It has now quit again and it was the last week of August. We kept our pond clean of debris and the pump clean as well. The lights continue to work, just like last time, but the fountain is non functioning.I’m hoping the company will do something to back this product and make this right.Purchasing a warranty and using it for this product shouldn’t be necessary, (with anything that has only been used for a few months). Warranties should be for a product that should last 4 years, but died on year 2. Do your research and look at the length of time the fountains work for others before purchasing.

At first all was well. Lights were pretty, especially at night. The fountain spray was at a good height. But, after 2 weeks use, the motor failed. Very disappointing.I HAD TO REVISE THIS REVIEW!The problem wasn't the pump, it was clogging of the water outlets. After rinsing, everything worked fine and I am enjoying it once again. I have also ordered a pond pump protector!!!!
