I've wanted/needed a label maker for as long as I can remember - but, somehow, never took the time to research them. I recently moved and decided it was time to get organized in my new house - plus, I found I seem to forget where I put things; if the tote is labeled at least I won't have to open each one to look at its contents. Plus, should I change the items in the tote, I just have to peal the label off, without having to scratch the previous writing. This little gadget has been a game changer! I'm glad I bought this brand - it's the brand I've heard about for as long as I can remember, so I figured they know what they are doing! I admit, the instructions are daunting - so I bought a case for this unit so I could keep the instructions with it at all times. Some of the instructions for the more advanced tools are a bit difficult to follow - but the basics are simple and everything works great. I like the little device that helps split the backing from the label. It's not perfect, but it does make it a bit easier. The quality of the text is great and so far, the label seems to affix to everything I've put it on - and, so far, I have been able to remove them without any glue residue left behind.

My 20+ year-old label maker stopped working. I was heartbroken to replace it because I loved it so much. Brother no longer sells my old model, but I was impressed that my old one lasted so long. So I chose this new Brother model, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's small and easy to hold, and the functions work just like my old Brother label maker. I appreciate how easy it is to cut labels after they've been printed, an improvement over my old model. Also, my last model was more of a desktop style: it worked best on a flat surface. This one works well on a desk but also in your hands, and since I often label things while in the middle of a longer project, that's a good feature I hadn't considered.

Works great, has more functions and formats than my last one. Super easy to setup, just add the tape and go. Prints nicely, and font can be changed smaller or larger to suit.

Does exactly as it should. Labels are good, sturdy & sticks to most surfaces without issue. Auto sleep feature is nice as I often forget its on. Print speed could be a little better but sufficient for my needs. Very easy to use once you figure out the shift keys.

I had already bought this and I thought I lost it so I bought it again. I found the other one I bought and they worked fantastic.I used it for work home it works great. It makes nice labels and you can size some different sizes.

I really love @brother label makers! I had bought a different one that was used through Bluetooth on my phone and it was just too complicated for me. I prefer old school technology that is easy to use! My family always used Brother products we owned a business and never had a problem at all with any of them! Its a very reliable, durable and easy to use label.maker and the price was great on it I did get it on sale but the price for a really nice piece of electronics is worth it even if it's not on sale! I highly recommend this brand and label maker!

I love to make labels- this is easy to use, prints fast and the font size is great. The only thing I don't like is that it cuts the label with unused tape on either side- this is good for people who might want a border, but I feel like it's a waste of the tape. None-the-less, it's good for people who might want the option- I just cut it off. It comes with the white tape and I bought the clear- which I love. I use it to label charging cords, binders, folders, kitchen areas, recipes...the possibilities are endless. I reccommend.
