Have extra stuff? use a bag...
Like to eat food but always make too much? Use a bag. Bought crayons but your kids destroyed the box for no reason? Use a bag. Thought you were going to eat a whole pizza but then got sick on slice #7? Use a bag- but not this one...this is a quart bag, you know pizza slices don't fit in a quart bag. But not to worry, they make gallon sized bags too....but that's not this bag.... Do you crave food that you put in bags but then have trouble getting them out again? Not to worry this bag has a slider so your salami fingers can easily get back to eating...well probably salami since you have salami fingers... This bag is clear so you can see what you secreted away inside it easily. No more opening a bag to find crayons when you were looking for salami (why are you keeping crayons in your fridge anyway wierdo?). Tired of leaving your half sliced tomato on the cutting board for days only to find it sad and deflated when you want to use it? Use a bag ( or just eat the whole tomato for god sakes its not that serious do you really need to bag up every little piece of food you didn't use...you know these bags don't biodegrade right? Stop using so many bags...) Ziplock bags are great, but do you really have ziplock bag money..no you don't because the minimum wage hasn't changed since 2009 and no one making $7.25 an hour has Ziplock money... buy an amazon bag because its basically a Ziplock bag except its not.

“A Lightweight, Ziploc-Like Option for Everyday Storage”
I recently tried the Amazon Basics Slider Quart Food Storage Bags for organizing snacks and small leftovers, and they’ve been a handy addition to my kitchen. These bags are thinner than Glad freezer bags but feel very similar to Ziploc branded bags, making them a solid choice for light-duty use.Quality and Build: These bags are clearly built for affordability. The plastic is noticeably thinner than Glad freezer bags, lacking that extra heft you’d want for heavy freezing, but it’s on par with standard Ziploc bags—flexible and functional. The slider mechanism is smooth and reliable, sealing with a satisfying click, and the expandable bottom is a nice touch for standing them up while filling. They’re lightweight and compact, perfect for pantry or fridge storage.Performance: For my purposes—storing dry snacks, sandwiches, or small portions—they work great. The seal holds tight, keeping things fresh, and I’ve had no leaks with dry goods or light liquids like sauces. They’re similar to Ziploc in feel and performance, though I wouldn’t trust them for heavy-duty freezer tasks like Glad bags handle; they’re not as thick or robust. Still, for quick storage or packing lunches, they get the job done without fuss.Value for Money: This 120-count pack is a bargain. They’re cheaper than Ziploc or Glad, and you get a ton of bags for the price, making them ideal for bulk use or casual needs. If you don’t need the thicker build of Glad freezer bags and just want a Ziploc-style bag at a lower cost, these are a no-brainer.Minor Notes: The thinner material means they’re less durable—don’t overstuff them or expect them to survive rough handling. The slider can feel a bit flimsy if you tug too hard, but it’s held up fine with normal use. They’re best for short-term storage rather than long-term freezing, given the Glad comparison.Overall: The Amazon Basics Slider Quart Bags are a practical, budget-friendly alternative, thinner than Glad freezer bags but close enough to Ziploc for everyday tasks. They’re perfect for light storage and organization, and the price-to-quantity ratio is tough to beat. 5 stars for value and convenience!

a decent alternative to the higher priced option
These are generally pretty good. I've had a few where the top isn't secured the way it should be so the bag is useless, but overall they are generally reliable. For the price they are a good purchase if you prefer a zip lock bag. Would give them 4.5 stars if that was possible.
