fabulous dance DVD
A definitive study of German choreographers of the WWII era and shaping dance that followed. Choreographies, costumes, masks, narration all work together magically. A "must have" for dance libraries. Ms. Fisher has done an incredible job. Beautiful dancer.

Always read the label...
Having seen a recording of the few existing snippets of the original performances, I thought this would include those recordings. However, this is a very lovely dancer recreating the performances. Unfortunately, what made these original dancers great was their passion and this was lacking, I'm afraid. Interesting academically possibly, but not at all inspiring or exciting.
