Evenflo Versatile Play Space Adjustable Play Area, 6-Panel (Cool Gray)

The media could not be loaded. First off let me say that Evenflo hit a huge home run with this play space (or as my 10 year old son calls it, "baby jail). The single biggest feature that my wife and I love is that each part of the webbing is a rounded edge and not a sharp plastic edge. We have no worry about our daughter hurting her hands or feet on this fencing due to the awesome rounded edges of the plastic.In the classic octagon shape it is 5ft across by 4ft 10" across from the two opposite corners and the two opposite straight edges of the octagon. This gives a large enough space for your baby to crawl and maneuver around and explore the area safely.Each panel of the play space is held together with a simple and effective push button hinge design. The fencing can be easily taken apart by an adult and reconfigured in a matter of seconds yet is completely secure enough where a baby or toddler would be unable to separate the fencing. The webbing on each panel is small enough where a baby/toddler in the standing stage would be unable to effectively place their foot into the opening and climb. My daughter is nearly 9 months and is able to pull herself up and is starting to explore things with her feet while she is holding herself up. Her hands are completely unharmed due to the awesome rounded edges on the webbing. The angled design of the webbing also prevents little feet from being able to climb up the panel.The play space easily folds up for storage. Think of an accordion style where each fence panel folds over onto the other. You simply detach one corner from the adjoining panel by pushing the white button on top of the joint and the fence folds up easily.You can really tell Evenflo put a lot of thought into the design of this play space. my baby started crawling a lot sooner than expected, and suddenly all the montessori anti-playpen rhetoric went out the window and FAST. we got this based on good reviews (and how it cost way less than the other highly rated playpens lol).it works really well for us! really easy to assemble and put away as well. tall enough to keep her in but short enough to step over when we’re feeling lazy. we ended up getting two of the 6-panel sets to give her more room to play. we can easily see her through the fence from across the room. she holds onto the side to stand up and she leans on it, and there haven’t been any signs of it falling/breaking at all.great investment, keeps our little one safe and out of the recycling bin (🙄)

This play pen is amazing. I love the color and I love how versatile it is. I have used it as a makeshift crib, a play pen for daycare kiddos, and even a playpen for foster animals. I have used it for my baby chicks when they had to be inside, I have used it for a litter of kittens I fostered, I used it as a cage for a bunny, and as a playpen for the puppy I got this year. I have even lent it to a neighbor for her grandkid. I have also taken it to family parties and used it outdoors. It is perfect and none of the dogs or kids have been able to knock it down. It is light weight enough to take with you anywhere. it's super easy to assemble and disassemble for easy transport or storage and it is very easy to clean. Because I have had animals in it I have had to clean it many times and I just take it outside and spray it down with a hose and then disinfect it inside and it works like a charm. I can see this thing lasting for many years. I have already had it for years and its basically brand new!

The gates are tall and well made but very flimsy and don’t stand well. I put the end of the gate against the couch to block my baby but (she’s 10 months) was able to fling it open with barely any force. They really should have added sand or heavy weights on the bottom of the gate to make it harder to push or move around. Other than that, I’m well pleased with how much you get for the price

This play area pen is fantastic and such a help! It's so easy to use because it's lightweight but it is very durable.I only used it one day so far but I used it several different ways and it was a tremendous help!First I made the closed octogan play area configuation and my grandson played so nicely with some toys while I did the dishes and straightened the house.Then I opened it up and wrapped it around the room blocking off one part of a room with unsafe areas and a door to another room. That gave him two rooms in the house that were safe for him to go into which he loved. I loved it too because I didn't worry what he was doing in the other room that I was not in.I also used it in the closed position again to keep my visiting son's dog in while I took my grandbaby for a walk. That was nice because I didn't want to leave the dog free and alone while I was not home.I used the closed play area configuration again to keep the baby from dashing through the door while I took the stroller outside too.So this is very helpful to me. I'm thinking of getting another one for my grandson's parents.I also got the extension so that we can set it up in the rectangle formation and also to make a larger area when we use it outside.One of the reasons I chose the Evenflo was because it was a bit taller than the rest I researched and it has the stakes to make it more secure outside.This makes things easier and better and I'm very pleased with this fence play area!While this is not a replacement for adult supervision, it is very much a safer area for my kiddos with plenty of room!

This is made well and is a good price. It's nice for visiting when puppy and I need a break (in the shade of course). It also works nice in the house separated into one or two lengths to place against room openings or stairs. We do have a separate crate that we use for official crate training. My puppy is an 8 pound 4.5 month old chihuahua/dachshund, so she's little and will stay small. I wouldn't trust this for a big dog as it could easily be knocked over, which then could fold and hurt the dog.
