WOLVERINE Men's Fletcher Soft and Rugged Twill Long Sleeve Shirt

I'm very happy to have found these. They fit me very well; fabric seems like really good quality. Looks like these should last quite a while. The green color is darker than shown on Amazon's website (yes, I understand color calibration - just sayin' - they are darker green than I saw on the picture. Also, like others have said, the buttons are a bit hard to button. I think the pencil pocket is unnecessary, and in the wrong place at that. I could do without the white tag on the one pocket, but that's not a deal killer. Overall, I think they are excellent shirts, and particularly for the price paid. I ordered more green, and grey as well. If the chestnut color becomes available, I plan or ordering several of those as well.

Very good quality fabric, nice construction and finish. Fits about as well as any large I've tried the last 10 years or so - - fits well at the shoulders and baggy at the waist. I'm 5-9 and 170 with wide shoulders and a 32/33 waist.Liked the first one so much that I bought 2 more. No shrinking in the wash. Quick FedEx shipping and a good price. Only wish they had a wider selection of colors and I would buy more......so nearly 4 years on and all the shirts (4) have held up very well. They've almost gotten to the point where the cotton weave has broken in and softened. Good color retention and sturdy build quality. I wear these shirts nearly daily from October to May. Highly recommend. Still wish they had more colors.

My go to work shirt for the past six or seven years has been the Sears brand work shirt. Even though they have been going through changes similar to the Sears stores themselves, I have stuck with them through thick and thin because they have continued to out perform the competition. At least until now.I only bought this shirt brand because of losing faith in the Sears brand. While I don't have any particular complaints about the Sears work shirts they have been changing over the years and not for the better (not necessarily for the worse, but definitely not for the better). So I decided to take a chance with this product.These Made in Bangladesh shirts are made from a high quality cotton, relatively heavy twill cloth. Frankly the cloth is a tiny bit heavier than I like for summer wear but it is ideal for all the other months of the year. The workmanship of these shirts is superior to top notch. Being used to the over-sized Sears buttons the buttons seem diminutive but no complaints. Their high quality outweighs any issue one may have with having to spend just a little extra time making them fit into their holes. Finally, the cut and feel of the shirts nearly takes them out of workwear and into the casual wear realm. They look smart and also look quality.I do have a couple of minor issues that barely detract from the overall product....One issue is the fabric dye color fastness. My shirt is somewhat muted in color and doesn't look as though it will be color fast, meaning that one expects the color to fade fairly soon. This is likely because it is made from cotton which is prone to fading. As I don't like to wear plastic clothing, I can't complain, only comment on the liklihood of it happening. I personally love cotton and will take the color fade of cotton over the color fastness of a cotton polyester blend any day.Along those lines, the soft twill cotton does feel buttery in hand, and this softness is only likely to become more so with age: I LIKE THAT!.Surprisingly, note that these shirts don't shrink a lot, as one would expect with cotton.The other nit I have to pick is the pen slot. While I LOVE that the left hand pocket has a pen slot, I don't care so much that it is located on the far side rather than closest to the shirt opening. Placing it on the far end of the pocket is non-traditional and I don't appreciate that. Also, the mfr. has thougtfully provided a pen collar for one to slot the pen into which goes above and beyond a mere pen slot for one's pen. This is a small loop of fabric that secures the top part of one's pen for extra insurance that it won't fall out of one's pocket and get lost. While I fully appreciate this touch, I don't particularly like it as I use a Parker Pen which has a strong clasp that snugly secures to one's pocket. The added pen loop only gets in the way of the Parker and makes it a struggle to remove. These are the only criticisms I have.....the small button thing is more of a comment, and I think I may grow to prefer them to over-size buttons.This shirt is a well-made, high quality, somewhat spendy work shirt that is definitely worth owning.

This is a quality shirt. It is nicely finished, fits pretty much as expected (after reading reviews), and the buttons are securely stitched. It has not been washed yet, so I cannot comment on fading or shrinkage. My biggest concern, aside from quality, was fit. As I get older I find I am not as "large" as i used to be. Whereas in the past I could fairly easily wear a large, I find I now am much closer to a medium-I am 6 ft., 160 lbs, and usually measure 15 1/2" neck and 33" sleeve. Most reviews stated that the shirt ran large, so I ordered a medium to be safe and it fits great. This is not a "trim" cut shirt, either. It is fairly full cut which I prefer.So, if you are on the edge between medium and large, go for the medium.

For many years I have worn Carhartt's Sandstone Twill shirt but apparently they have been discontinued. I recently purchased this Wolverine shirt and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is almost identical to the Carhartt.This is the only shirt that I can find that combines all of the features that I am looking for, e.g., 8 ounce cotton twill, double pockets, and a button down collar. They will last for years and are comfortable through fall, winter, and spring. I may need to purchase a lifetime supply since the current trend in work clothing is to add that damnable spandex to everything.

I like this wolverine shirt alot. It wears great, feels great , looks good and its durable. I would recommend this shirt to anyone who just wants a very, very good all around shirt. Five stars easy in my opinion. I have purchased all the colors this shirt comes in.

I should have ordered one size smaller, even though I wear 2XL , But I love this shirt a size bigger, I will use it as shirt jacket, as I can comfortably wear another shirt or a light sweater under in . Generally I love Wolverine products and have few vest made by them too. They are very good buy and will last you for a very long time, that you may include them in your will !!!

I love these shirts. They are 100% cotton, and are really thick. Very comfortable to me, and keep the cold off my backside. I wish the manufacturer still made these. I wear a large and they fit well and not tight.

Okay I used to buy canvas work shirts for my husband on another website in Canada and they stopped making them . I seen this one on Amazon and decided to give it a chance. It's not as thick as he likes, but it's pretty close. Went back to order more, and nothing for months. Oh well hopefully they might get this shirt back. The size chart on here needs to be fixed because it's not helpful if you're buying for another person in your household.
