Farmacy Coconut Gel Sheet Masks - Brightening Skin Care Face Mask - 12 Pack

This mask I have bought a few times now and I can confidently say that it is one of the best I've used. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and refreshing. I apply it after I take a shower almost every night and it's easy. Only gripe I have is that I wish it came better packaged than just in a plastic bag with a barcode on it.

Farmacy has been one of my favorite brands since it first came out years ago. The duo behind the company believed in natural skincare sourced from local providers, and this is a philosophy they still hold to. This is a big reason why I continue to buy their products, especially since many of the ingredients are sourced from farms local to where we live in the Hudson Valley of NY.This set of face masks is a good place to start if you are new to the brand. It's kind of impossible to mess up using one, and at least if you don't like them after using one or two, the rest are sealed and can be given away rather than tossed in the garbage if no one wants a partially used jar of something (plus you can't donate open containers, either). These masks are made of a silky feeling bio-cellulose material that holds a lot of serum. The sheet of what I think is cotton fiber that the mask is on inside of the pouch is full of product as well. While the mask is doing its thing on your face, you can use the backing and apply product to your neck, chest, arms, etc. Be sure to make use of the extra product in the pouch as well. If you happen to have the dry cotton fiber masks that you can use as a basis to make your own masks, there's enough serum product in pouch for you to saturate one of these dry masks to make another.The masks feel really soothing on skin. No irritation from strong ingredients or overwhelming fragrance that makes wearing the mask uncomfortable. Skin feels soft and refreshed after wearing. I usually leave on for a lot longer than the 10-15 minutes the direction say. I like to put one on, read a book of awhile, and take the mask off when it feels dried out. At just under $4 a mask, these are slightly more expensive than other packs of masks, but here you notice the quality of ingredients and how well they work to treat your skin. I try to avoid masks with ingredients that can be harsh to skin or have so much scent you can't wear them or else your eyes burn and water. I've yet to find a product from Farmacy that is anything but skin-friendly, including their chemical exfoliants. These masks (all varieties) are absolutely a repeat buy.

The masks are very easy to unfold and apply as they're sandwiched between two thick blue layers that you peel off. They are saturated with so much serum, I literally covered my whole body in it, but I'm also wondering if you could reseal the package and use the blue masks. The material didn't seem to stick as well, but I think you could make do by laying down with them on. I think I would prefer if they were in a box like toner pads, but the individual packs are better for travel or gifting among friends.Sadly, they don't smell like coconut, but they smell okay. Skin stays wet and then sticky for a good while after removing the mask, so plan to have some leisurely time. They do moisturize and create a glow, but the moisturizing seemed to be the bigger benefit. I get better glow from other products.These seem pricey at $47, but I haven't used enough sheet masks to know if you're getting an unusually generous amount of serum with this.

This was a very awkward mask to apply, it had layers, and it was not easy to apply. This was one of the worst masks to apply and felt waxy to me. Once mask was removed my skin felt clean and bright.

These Farmacy Sheet masks contain a lot of serum in each mask. The package comes with 12 masks, so they work out to abut 3.92 each, (rounding up the last decimal) that’s a good price for a quality product. Comparing with the price of a salon facial (which always causes breakouts on my face anyway) And I have used other Farmacy products, and like them a lot.These masks are no exception. They are a quality mask - it’s not just *remove mask from bag, and unfold, place on face* Nope. These are sandwiched in between two sheets of blue mesh - I’m not sure what the purpose of that is, unless it’s to make it easier to apply or something. I removed one layer of mesh, positioned the mask, and then removed the upper blue mesh. It’s not a strongly scented mask, and i can’t smell coconut. Vaguely citrus scented perhaps, but not at all strong.As with a lot of sheet masks, there is plenty of product on the mask itself, and it won’t dry out, it does stay wet, and so i left it for 20 minutes, which is longer than the suggested time.I can never get the eye, nose, and mouth holes to fit me correctly on any sheet mask, they just never line up to my facial proportions, but i wouldn’t mark them lower because of that, it’s just not possible for everyone to have the facial features, and they do their best to fit the average face I’m sure.Anyway, it felt very cooling, soothing and relaxing during my 20 minute “me time”After peeling off the mask, i massaged the remaining serum into my skin, and after drying it still felt a little sticky. Fortunately it was close enough to bedtime for this not to be a problem. Had i done the mask early morning, and needed to apply make up afterwards, I’d have had to rinse or tone my skin.My skin did feel beautifully hydrated, soft and supple.I did not have any breakouts or irritation which is always a concern with new products. And while i am no spring chicken, and could never make the announcement that my skin looked *dewy* it definitely looked and felt better.I am expecting compliments from continued use. Not really but if I feel confident about how I look, then i have a different attitude, and carry myself differently, if you know what i mean.I would buy these again, i think it’s a fair price to pay for a good product.
