Lenovo Tablet Case, Tab 4 8" HD Folio Tablet Case and Film, Black, ZG38C01733

I purchased this in anticipation of "kid-proofing" our new Lenovoa Tab 4 - 8. Everything was packaged nicely, and what is not shown very well in the details is there are two different decals for the rear of the tablet (one teal, as shown, the other yellow in color). My disappointment is with the "screen protector". It is simply a sheet of plastic, that refused to adhere without numerious bubbles. Additionally, I hightly doubt it would protect the screen against a fall. I have installed numerious of the tempered glass protectors on other tablets/phones in our house with no issues, no bubbles, and no reduction in functionality/clarity. The provided screen was tossed in the trash, and I have ordered the only other "tempered glass" protector I was able to find on Amazon (I guess this is a trade off of purchasing a new model, there is a lack of cases/protectors initially available). Additionally, I did not apply the backing, as I imagine will would peal off and time, and attract dirt around the adhesive edges. The bumper case is nice, and allows full access - I am just not certain it adequately protects the devices...

the only complaint that i have is that the way this is designed to use the Camera and Lenovo logo to the camera is upside down. Now i know im nit picking but the they make more money than i do and that should have been fixed before production. If that dont bother you the case is great. Pro it wakes up your tablet when you open. That is cool .

Had approximately four weeks; as others have said, touch response is sub par. You will find yourself tapping two or three times to get the screen to respond. Relatively slow processor, very small internal storage. Case is cheap, thin plastic with sharp edges and wonky display stand. Will protect against scratches when closed but zero shock absorption. Good value for the price if all you need is basic functions and limited, casual gaming.

I ordered this to protect my Lenovo 4 8. The case is nice. I kind of gambled since Lenovo doesn't like giving a decent product description and overall I am pleased.They say there is soft leather bonded to the rear cover but I can't discern any leather anywhere on the case. Even so, it IS soft and does seem like it will protect my tablet.On the other hand, and this is where I mark the case down, the "high quality anti-scratch protective film" that "provides maximum protection to the screen" ended up in the trash because the little tabs they attach saying "please peel off" doesn't peel off. It left a sticky residue on the protective film that rendered it useless.If you want it to peel off, Lenovo, please provide something that WILL peel off. This didn't, and thus I had to remove the entire film and toss it in the garbage.Really, the reason I chose the Lenovo case in the first place was that it included this film, which I now don't have.I find myself in the position of the judges on Food Network's CHOPPED: If you include an item on your dish, we have to judge it. Sure, the case alone I'd give 4 or 5 stars but you included the film and the film bombed, so you get 3.Unfortunately, replacement screen protectors seem to go for about 10 bucks, which is half of what I paid for the case and a screen protector, so yeah...not happy.

Well designed overall. Since it is manufactured by Lenovo, you know they would have got all the dimensions right.Magnetic cover is flexible and works right.The tablet can stand in at least two different ways - depending on how the flexible cover is folded. the picture shows only one.Having the screen included was nice - saved a second purchase. It was easy to put on.Nice to have it all in one package. worth the $21.

Great size and weight. Beautiful screen and colors. I use this to mainly stream TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. It updated to Android 8.1 the day I turned it on so it uses the same Android that my Nexus 6P phone has on it. Very easy to use. Great battery. I use it about 2 hours a day and the battery lasts 5 days before I need to charge it. So glad I got this.

I returned the tablet and case

I bought this as an upgrade for an old Samsung Tab 2 that wore out. I liked the reviews and layout of this a bit more. Upon receiving it, I was disappointed to learn there's no fingerprint sensor but that's not a deciding factor for me, just an annoyance. Then I find that the touch screen is not as sensitive and sometimes I have to tap two or three times to get it to respond (I'm learning to "linger" on the item rather than just tap). It has many good features but the screen smudges much more than my old tablet, laptop or phone - all of which have touch screens, so it requires frequent cleaning to remove the smudges.Overall it's an "okay" system and does what I need but I really am slightly disappointed overall

I was happy purchasing a genuine lenovo case for few days until I had accidently dropped my tablet on a carpeted floor. The tablet came off the case and the plastic edges that holds the tablet broke into so many pieces.I have now purchased another case from a different brand IVSO and I must admit the quality of IVSO is so much better than Lenovo case. The edge holding the tablet is longer and it covers a wider area. It has a magnet and the tablet is protected better in IVSO case.Please do not purchase this Lenovo case if you want to protect your tablet to survive a normal drop.This case is a complete waste of money. It is too expensive and cheap quality. Thumbs down Lenovo.

Well, I appreciate that this is for an older tablet but if you are thinking about buying it, then don't.It is obviously a perfect fit and match to the Lenova tablet because it is made for them. However it fails in it's primary purpose of protecting your tablet.I dropped my tablet off the table with this on and the case - or rather the hard plastic locating lugs on the corners - immediately broke off dumping my tablet out of the case.Bottom line is that this is fragile junk. Avoid.

PERFECT AS IT IS DESCRIBED

Es un buen producto, pero para ser el original de Lenovo, al precio que se vende, pudiera ser mejor. El marco protector es de buen material, robusto y como se espera que sea. El problema es con la mica para la pantalla, la cual es prácticamente imposible de instalar sin que queden burbujas de aire entre el cristal y ésta. Además es muy susceptible a arañones y marcas. Cuenta además con 2 forros o cubiertas de papel con diseños de niño, con adhesivo de un lado tipo calcomanía con las que puedes (o no) "tapizar" la parte de posterior de tu tablet.

Estuve buscando alguna funda de uso rudo para esta tableta, hasta que encontre éste, realmente me gusto mucho ya que protege de atrás y adelante, para las manos resbaladisas de los pequeños.Lo recomiendo.
