Sooooo comfortable and easy to use, you're liable to fall asleep using it. Better set a timer. Don't buy one of harder cervical traction devices which can be (literally) a pain to use. This one achieves the job of relaxing your muscles to give your vertebrae a chance to slide back where they belong while GENTLY cradling your neck.

This has been a huge relief for my boyfriend. He was in a terrible accident about 10 years ago and deals with spinal stenosis, neck degenerative disease and more. This gives him comfort and support to sleep at night or relax while he stretches. For the money, it was totally worth it. The size is perfect for anyone.

Needed some relief for a tight neck due to a desk job. This does help!At first I didn't like it as it felt awkward, uncomfortable and a bit too "hard" for my already hurting neck.However, I noticed that it put a firm but gentle amount of pressure on my occipitals which then brought some much needed relief.I started out slowly, only using it a minute or so at a time until I got used to it. The key for me is to use it often for shorter periods of time as opposed to once or twice a day for longer periods of time. Also, I think the pillow needs to be in order to put the proper amount of counterpressure on those tight muscles and bring about relief.In a way it is sort of like having your own personal neck stretcher whenever you need it.Well worth the money in my opinion.I gave it 4 stars because it does help with some if the pain but not all of it, and also as stated, it isn't that comfortable, by design, but for those who need to know this I rated it as such.

Love this it really helps my neck

I purchased 4 different neck wedges around the same time, and this is my second favorite. I love that it is soft enough to not cause bruises or a sore neck.If you use it as designed (place your neck in the curve designed for the neck), the wedge is too small as it is designed for a child or petite person (I am 5’6”). However, I did what another reviewer recommended. I switched the wedge and use the highest part of the wedge against my neck, and it works much better.

Love it! Highly recommend! It definitely gives your neck a good stretch/decompression and it feels great.

I love this wedge! Didn't really think that I would, but I've had neck pain for sometime and was willing to try anything. I lay down on this daily and use a heating pad on my shoulder... and I sleep. It helps take away the pain... for me anyway.

Much smaller than I expected. The dimensions were in the photos and description, but I wasn't paying attention so that was my own fault to expect a bigger pillow. It is very firm, and that is what I hoped for, so that was a huge plus. The outer cover is very soft and perfect for sleeping.The crevice where your neck goes is too low for me though. I need my neck to sit higher and I turn it upside down so I'm sleeping on the straight edge instead of the curved part at different times during the night. I know it says to use it for only a little while but I am very comfortable using it in terms of discomfort on my neck.It is taking a while to get used to using this pillow as opposed to a regular pillow, as I am a side sleeper and it is pretty small. You have to turn over and stay in a very small space to stay on the pillow. My shoulders are squooshed, so I wish it was bigger or higher to accommodate side sleeping and still keep my neck and head at the correct angles. But if my neck and head stay in the right positions, as this pillow helps with, I wake up with no neck and shoulder pain. It will creep back during the day, but this is a huge deal for me. I have been struggling with this pain for years, before I even open my eyes. It keeps me awake at night and keeps me in bed all day. But some relief is better than none. I'm glad I ordered this. It's not perfect, but it does help.
