The show does stretch out as far as size goes so it's more comfortable.I've worn these boots for TWO DAYS and tithe toe of the boot is already worn off. Looks like hell now.I'm very disappointment because I was looking for some non-leather boots.I guess you can't be too upset for $30 boots.. but I definitely will not buy again. I should have just gone to Target.

I am in love with these booties!! They're casual, but stylish. They're very comfortable, though they did take a day or two of breaking in. I've had these a week now, and I've worn them almost every day because of how much I love them. I am always size 7 (not wide) in shoes. I purchased the tan color in size 7. It looks less "dirty" than in the picture. I would not call the heel "chunky". They look very sleek. The height of the heel is a comfortable 1 1/2 inches, higher than other combat boots I've owned, but still low enough to feel grounded.I've had issues with my beloved combat boots in the past because the zippers get warped and broken. But since these are lace-up and only come up just above my ankle, they're low hassle to put on and take off.**Update: I wore these shoes 3-4 times per week for about 6 months and I noticed that the shoelaces were fraying around the grommets. The metal grommets were(or became) jagged got caught on and sliced up my laces. Replacing the laces was only a temporary fix, as the grommets cut up the new ones. The soles had minimal wear and any wrinkles where the toes bend are not very noticeable. I have loved these shoes and I did get a lot out of them, but lacing them has become almost impossible unless I change out the grommets. The rest of the shoes are basically intact and I would still be wearing them, if not for the GROMMETS.

UPDATED REVIEW: I re-ordered these because after a season, they wore down to the point that I couldn't use them anymore. Well, the Manufacturer must have changed how they made them, because they now SUUUUUCK. I've had them for about a month, and haven't worn them much until a couple weeks ago (when the rain started). They were just like before, except today, the heel just COMPLETELY FELL APART! It is HALLOW inside! What manufacturer makes the heel HALLOW????? WTF? So now I'm out my money, and I STILL have to buy new shoes again. Thanks for nothing.DO NOT RECOMMEND.Old Review:I have worn these every day since I received them. They are super flattering on my big feet and so comfy! I love them!

Got these brown booties in my regular size 8.5 - after reading the reviews. They fit fine but could not wear heavy, winter socks with them. I love the booties. They seem well made. Come up on ankle as described and are not tight. The laces even stayed tied. The heel is just right. They really look nice on. If the black ones go on sale I will get then but I think size up to 9 just so I can wear heavy socks. My feet get cold easy:(Note Here in MD we get lots of wetness. So I did waterproof my booties and the leather did not stain or get splotchy. Haven’t worn them since but I think they will be great.

Fantastic boots! Right after I bought them-barely broken in-I went to a renaissance festival and walked around for hours and it was only at the end (maybe 6+ hours) that they began to hurt. I was still able to wear them the next day. My only suggestion is to wear them with socks because the top rubs against your ankle. It may get better with more use but I don't give it a chance because I just wear socks. I did recommend them to a friend and she wears them without socks and said it was a bit of an issue but continues to wear them as such so I think they break in. The socks are between ankle and high top socks which is a little tricky. They are lined in very soft material and are very fancy even in skirts.

I hesitated ordering these boots because of the many negative reviews. However, I am extremely pleased with these boots for several reasons: 1. They fit true-to-size. 2. They are well made. 3. They are worth the price. They do fit as expected, however, I suggest that if you want to wear socks, you should order a1/2 size up. I wear an 8 and they fit well, but if I ever need to wear socks they would have to be thin socks. I live in north Florida so I won't have many occasions when socks would be needed for warmth. I ordered the tan color and while I like the color, it isn't the same as the color pictured. Actually, they look better than the one pictured. They are much smoother in texture and the color is, what I would call, a light brown rather than tan. I can't speak to their comfort because I haven't worn them and probably wouldn't address that issue because I won't be wearing them for long periods of time or walking great distances. Go ahead and get a pair, or two, you won't be disappointed.

A little narrow from the toe but nothing that prevents me from wearing them. Have had tons of compliments on them and wear them on a daily basis. Would recommend!
