Ink and Wash Florals: Stunning Botanical Projects in Watercolor and Ink

This book is wonderful. So glad I purchased this book. The instructions are well thought out, steps are logical and beautiful. My results are exactly what I was hoping to achieve, a loose and beautiful floral design. I like to make journals and cards, and these designs and techniques are exactly what I wanted to be able to do. Starting from scratch for me was not always successful. Having guidelines that are beautiful not only are inspiring, but are also very practicable. The line and color supply and visuals are awesome. Love this book.

I’m so happy to have this very lovely and brilliant watercolour book. Recently I began enhancing my paintings with ink lines and the look thrilled me. Then serendipity struck when Camilla’s book found me! So exciting!! I bought the spiral bound edition which is great, I only wish the print was a tad darker. Still, I absolutely love this beautiful book and am eager for her next one.

This is a great book for learning and painting loose, watercolor florals. The illustrations are colorful and clear, demonstrating many techniques in a clear and concise manner. I especially like that the color names are included with each illustration. I will look for more books from the author.

Watch her YouTube videos to supplement this. Very fun and freeing approach to making fresh and lively floral sketches.

I tend to feel like watercolor books are lacking something for my preference. I have been so happy with this one so far! Just got it this morning and already have done a first go at the first 3 flowers! Can’t wait to keep working my way though!

Camilla did such a great job on this book. Easy to follow instructions, with nice step-by-step pictures and color options. I am working my way through and I have loved every project so far. Thank you for a wonderful product.

If you want to become better at painting florals, this is definitely a book for you. Camilla have done a thorough and well-made book about watercolour and ink. It surely revived my passion for watercolour, after a 10 year pause. For me it was easy to use, with a broad variety of techniques. The paper and print itself is high quality, the text is concise and witty and the illustrations stands sharp.

Camilla has done a great job on this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in line and wash sketching. It would make a lovely gift for an artist friend.I look forward to her new one in July. 🙂❤️ Ro x

Nicely presented and easy step by step instructions. Lovely illustrations and a great guide for beginners new to line and wash.

Lovely examples… gave me lots of new ideas on different ways on paintings of flowers.

Cet ouvrage est vraiment super ! Je débute à l'aquarelle (depuis 3 mois) et j'ai réussi à réaliser très rapidement les exemples proposés dans le livre. Les pas à pas sont très clairs, faciles à suivre et à reproduire ! Je suis ravie !!!
