Acme Ceara Storage Wooden Console Table with 2 Glass Doors in Black

I bought this cabinet to hold liquor, wine, and small kitchen appliances. It does that very well. I put the shelf on the top of the three height options. The top shelf holds the alcohol. The cabinet is deep enough to hold wine horizontally and I have ordered a wine rack to place inside that should allow for 12 bottles to lay horizontally. The bottom holds my stand mixer, waffle iron, etc.Some of the pieces were cracked when it arrived so I filled it in with marker. It was fairly straightforward directions to put together. It took me longer than expected because some of the cam locks just didn’t line up like they should have. I also took an extra step to spray paint the glass black so you can’t see the inside. Just my personal preference.Overall it serves the purpose that I intended. My unit arrived damaged but not so much that I’d go through the hassle of a return. It looks nice in the room. Good for the price.

The paint on this is really fume-y. If you can endure about 3-4 weeks of it airing out, it is exactly as pictured. I put it together by myself. It took less than an hour from box to placement in its final destination. Doors adjust to make sure they are level and do not rub against one another. Finish is nice, but not designed for laying lots of stuff on it unprotected. If you have it at a front door, I would get a dish or basked for a drop zone rather than dropping right on the piece. Overall, I like it. I’ll be doing the mirror paint thing on the glass that someone else did as a project on vacation this week.

So the basic cabinet was alright. I ordered two. Both had a chip or chunk damaged, but it was on a corner that wouldn’t be noticeable so I touched up with a black Sharpie.It is black. I couldn’t tell from the pics and the description wasn’t clear.Now … I customized to resemble some cabinets that were $1,000 on Wayfair.-The crisscross inserts and the glass all came out easily with a small screwdriver.-I spray painted the inserts with a gold spray paint.-I replaced the glass with mirrors cut to fit. I think maybe $30 for 4 mirrors (two cabinets).-I also added glass on top to protect it.Everything went back together perfectly.LOVE the final product!

The cabinet was relatively easy to put together, however once assembled it had a lean to the left or the right. I ended up going to home depot to salvage the purchase. I bought some L bracket for the back corners and, when this didn't stabilize the cabinet, bought a thin piece of wood 26 inches in length and 24 inches in width along with some furniture screws. I screwed this into the back of the cabinet with 3 screws on the top and 3 on the bottom- presto, the cabinet was solid. I gave it 3 stars, despite the extra work, because it is awfully pretty. It did come with some dents to the top (I bought some ebony furniture fill touch up, also from home depot). All in all, I probably spent 50 bucks to make it work, but work it does. I'm using it as a liquor cabinet- full bottles on the bottom shelf and tequila bottles on the top.

Very nice style. Adds beauty to my front room while hiding my families shoes. Standard quality and we needed to drill some holes (4 stars) but my man didn't mind because sometimes you just have to adjust some things. I would def get another. BadgeBlingCS

The cabinet is not what I expected. The cam bolts came off after I tried to tighten the Cam lock, intact the plastic to hold cam bolt came out and had to put it together with super glue. Cam lock would not stay tight and fall off. The cabinet is swaying from side to side due to lose cam bolts. I would have returned the cabinet had it been bought at a store as I was not able to put the thing back in the box. I have no problem assembling online furniture but this one due to lose bolts took me some time as I had to dismantle and put it together hoping this it would be better. Not worth the price.

I made a couple small modifications, added a background paper, holes in the back to add lights, and different knobs. All in all it has been a great little piece for my livingroom. I have put MANY like this together over the years, but this one had a trick. I initially screwed the cam lock posts in too deep. When I tried to put it together, however, I could not make them "grab" and lock. Just be careful that you don't do this, otherwise it will never be sturdy. For the money though, it's a great little piece and lots of style! Makes a great little liquor cabinet!
