HDX-78C-MC is compatible with 1978-88 Chevy Monte Carlo and 1978-87 Chevy El Camino / Malibu / Caballero. 1978-88 Chevrolet G Body cars with the six-round gauge clusters can also enjoy the perks of HDX! Not for the sweep-style cluster, this bolt-in package affords six analog readings, stock-location turn signals and a pair of TFT message centers. Calibration and personal settings are manipulated with the built-in, capacitive-touch buttons, or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons. All HDX instrument systems feature dead-faced (hidden) indicators (turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, parking brake, plus two user-definable), and a red, settable warning light for each gauge. With our central control box, installation is greatly simplified with vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied, solid state sending units connecting cleanly to their respective terminal. Excellent application of technology to older vehicles.
Dakota Digital products are basically great. There are a few areas for improvement. They are minor engineering and longevity items which are only seen by engineers. The overall digital dash is a technological wonder. it has many more features than my new Escalade or Corvette. It really does require a couple of additional options for full function, but when complete it's great.
