Rough Country 1.5" Leveling Kit for 2005-2022 Ford Super Duty 4WD - 51001

True 1.5" lift for the front of my 2010 F350 CC long bed. Its a nice angle - just slightly nose down in front now. I didn't want to be doing a wheelie with my trailer on the back so this is perfect and removes the full on Grandpa style rake from my truck. Puts the front end up where it should be from the factory. From what I see, the F250's will sit about level as the rear blocks from the factory are shorter than the F350. Only gripe is the bolts that come with it. You're replacing a flanged metric 10.8 grade factory bolt that utilizes thread locking compound with a 8.8 grade bolt, standard hex head, no flange, and no provided washer. Because of this, it galls the aluminum spacer when you tighten it down. I checked fit with an added washer but wasn't happy with the lack of thread engagement into the spring perch so I just went straight bolt-to-block as per the instructions. I'd recommend checking torque on the bolt after 1000 miles. Mine loosened slightly. Also, add lock-tite.Still a much better design than the round pucks you see sold for this application as these lock into the spring perch and can't spin.I will add longer shocks soon. I went camping and found I was maxing out my travel driving over some uneven ground getting to our normal camp site.

I purchased this 1-1/2" level kit for a 2006 F-350 DRW. It's a process taking the front end apart to install these spacers and the quality of the spacers is just ok. Ready Lift has the same ones fabricated to a higher standard but cost more money. Rough Country gives zero torque spec information on bolts which is bonk and conventely neglects to tell you that you WILL need an alignment after install. In my opinion if a company is selling products it should get and give all installation information including torque specs. They tell you to use factory specks however Rough Country provides the bolts which are not equal to factory bolts. I don't recommend this company.

Pretty straight forward install, took a couple of hours. I replaced my shocks with Fox 2.0 and the ride after install is much better. While some of the improvement is due to the shocks, not all of it is. This moved the axle away from the bump stop and now I don't get that teeth rattling jar at the bad road bump I cross every day. My 2020 F250 still has a small amount of rake with this setup (actual gain was a little over an inch in the front). Tires shifted 3/8 inch to driver side as I did not chose to use an adjustable trackbar. Not sure if 3/8 of an inch is worth the cost and labor to add one. Overall very pleased. I may eventually swap out for a spring replacement type leveling kit....but not until someone offers a true 2 1/2 inch kit for 2020+ models.

I would recommend this product. The installation was easy even if your not that mechanical. It took me about 4 hours using regular sockets and wrenches. I rented a spring compression tool from O'Reilly. It was $50 deposit, You get it back when you return it. I bought the 1.5 lift for my 2017 f350 crew cab. It raised the front end just about an inch lower than the back end. I also got new tires. I had 31 inch but bought 33 inch. I think the stance is perfect.

Product arrived quickly and seems to be a quality product. I installed it on a 2005 f250 and am glad I went with the 1.5 inch kit. It sits just right. A coil compressor tool would have made the job go much quicker. If you don’t have a lift I would consider renting the tool from your local auto parts store. I also used loctite when installing the new bolt.

Install took about an hour and a half using old school ratchets. The new bolt for spacer is a 22 mil not a 23 like instructions say after spending ten minutes looking for a 23 I finally realized that it was a 22. I jacked it up where the front tires were about 6 inches off the ground then put my stands under it and had plenty of room to drop axle. I went ahead and painted the spacers black to blend in. Overall super easy installation and good product. I’ve ran rough country for ten years on several trucks from a 7.5 lift down to this leveling kit and will continue to do so. Good job rough country

The install was not difficult and the truck looks 10x better! I got it aligned after which they don’t really say to do but I did anyway, and the truck rides so much better now! Improved ride quality and better look, win win!

Product is perfect. Very low cost, and makes the truck look great.Simple installRide quality is not affected, actually installed bilstien 5100s since I was already in there so it now rides better then it ever has.The 1.5 is perfect for 250’s rear sits about half inch high.

Solid metal suspension insert to lift the front end up 1.5" as advertised. Simple design you can't mess up.
