The dress is a size nine. It fits perfectly like the ads shows. The material is stretchy and fits tight to the body. Due to the the material being stretchy the length looks really short, but because it can't stretch it can be pulled down more too but can also go back back. Due to that because of the tightness and the stretchiness I would suggest going up a size high to be a little more roomie. Otherwise she makes it work and she will be wearing shorts under the dress and she loves it.

The dress we received was exactly as it was shown online. The fit was true to size. Very age appropriate dress for a pre-teen.
