Bought this for my high school graduate almost a year ago. He's used it every day in college, and stuffed way more crap that any backpack should be able to carry, on a daily basis. It still looks like new, and I'll buy another when the next kid graduates.

I had a Borealis for like 8 years. It was a great backpack. I had it through 4 years of college then I used it for just my go to day trip or traveling back pack. It was perfect. Then I brought it camping and left some trail mix in a pocket and a mouse or something chewed through it. It was pretty beat up before that so I figured I’d replace it with the same thing. But they shrunk the front pocket and gave it this oversized sunglasses pocket. Now it packs real weird if I’m really filling it up like when I don’t wanna check a bag so I just squish everything in. Idk it just holds less and packs weirdly now. Very top heavy. But tbh if I didn’t have the old one I probably wouldn’t notice. And I still do like this and it actually feels like a higher build quality. So it’s good, but they hit the nail on the head last time and kinda made it worse imo

Bought for my teenager. He loves it and says it holds more then his previous north face.

I like this backpack a lot. I bought it for nursing school. However, I thought I was buying more of a maroon color from the picture and it is definitely a brown.
