Seems to be a good switch.
Installation is not hard, and it works the same as the original switch. It controls the pressure just as well and can be adjusted for cut in/cut out pressure. The original switch lasted 35 years. I won't live long enough to see if this one can beat that.

To use teflon tape where it screws to the compressor

Works well but not a direct fit for my compressor.
This pressure switch was not a direct fit for my compressor. It did function properly. I did have to change the terminals on the wires from a blade type to an eyelet type. The port to the switch is mounted pointing to a different direction than my previous switch. I had to fabricate a new pressure tube to fit. I didn't consider either one of these modifications to be a big deal.

Had to modify my compressor for it to fit, but works great. Much more heavy duty than I expected!

Production problems
After installation this item leaks out the bottom of the switch. I can’t return it because I was waiting for other parts to arrive and my 30 days expired. In their product service menu there is nothing that refers to this problem and you cannot contact them.Don’t purchase this item.Darrell CollinsThis is an update to the above entry. The problem with the pressure switch was that the screws that attached the switch to base were loose so that air was leaking through the diaphragm. I still give them 1 star.
