I'm A Little King: Positive Affirmations for Black and Brown Boys

First off, I’ll start by saying the illustrations were bomb!!! My one year old and I kept clicking back to explore the colors and just to admire the art work! Secondly, the story flow exceed my expectation. My one year was enticed and in tuned with the words and with what the story had to say. I absolutely loved it!

This book as Black Man made me feel so proud, gave me such faith that there's like minded individuals who not only see but is not afraid to speak the truth. It touches on subjects that only the Luv of a black woman could address in such a stiff yet elegant and delicate way. Reminded me of the care and kindness my Nubian addresses situation. Something I refer to as a black women's touch. And I give all the Luv in the world cause with intentional parenting and uplifting of your community there's often a price paid that goes unseen, so we as like minded individuals in our community need to SUPPORT that positivity cause there's those outside our community that tend to profit off of giving the world the worst or the less than desirable parts of our community which ever community has. But we're targeted and intentionally marketed more towards what they want the worlds stereotypes of us to be! If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I'm gone order a couple more for my God son and nephews. It's books and affirmations as these that if we're staples of every young ones collection it would go along way in helping them understand what they are. And why there do important! She wrote the book in such a way that it made me proud! So I can imagine the joy or confidence booster it serves to helpy Lil'Warrior-King!!! ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE... Hadn't smiled at reading a night time book like this since "Just Like My Daddy" Much Luv 4u One Luv 2u... (INTENTIONAL PARENTING) is the best way to combat Intentional Distractions

Such a cute and inspiring book. My son loves it and wants to read it every night. He is already reciting the positive affirmations on his own 😍.

My 5 month old loves when his dad and I read to him but we seem to run through so many books due to them only being 5-8 pages long so on our hunt to find books with longer stories I came across this one and it’s GREAT.
