Eyewitness Travel Phrase Book Mandarin Chinese (DK Eyewitness Travel Guides Phrase Books)

This travel phrase book is well organized so that one can quickly locate the expression he wants to use. Particularly useful is the app because it will play many of the entries in the phrase book. I have had several travel phrase books, but this one is the best. Next time I am traveling and need one for a different language, I will look first for an Eye Witness Travel Phrase book.

This is an excellent book and comes with a great free app so that you can hear an native speaker reading the words and phrases.

Down loaded software only works to download approximately ttwo thirds of the words. The software states that it is down loading some of the words, but it does not. Also some of the words around page are intermittant. Work some times and others do not not work at allThe name of the phrase book does not show up in the librasy., So you cannot edit the library..

This book has every phrase you could need. Also has pictures to use to communicate with Chinese.Has multiple parts of phrases that you can match up with other phrases to say her you need.

This handy little journal has everything a traveler without experience in the language would need to get around a Chinese-speaking country. The helpful "you might hear" sections are really nice, and pronunciation can be taught through the app that comes with the book. I recommend this to anyone looking to familiarize themselves with language basics on a budget.

It really came in handy during my trip to china! especially with the pictures. I really like the app that comes with it also. It reads the words out for you so you can hear the way it is said.
