This is really cute. Lightweight and fit well, EXCEPT that it has a really large bust. I am a 44DD and I was swimming in this. If you have a big bust though, and struggle to find something that works ... this may be your go-to!

I absolutely LOVE this dress! I work in an outdoor museum that is a ghost town museum and dress like it’s the 1800’s and had to get this as it’s perfect for both my work, going out, and normal life! It isn’t restrictive at all! I lost over 200 lbs and often have issues with short sleeves like this but I had bought this in black about 2 years ago for a masquerade party in New Orleans. I received many compliments and I felt pretty in it! So, working at the museum now where I need to dress mid to late 1800’s, I thought this is in red would be perfect! The red is vibrant and it’s very detailed with lace trim, a corset tie in the back etc. i also love that it allows to be cinched fairly high in the front with hidden ribbons on the underskirt. I just added an underbust harness corset and a 3 ring hoop skirt to wear under. Oh my goodness!,dare I say I love the red more than the black? I received so many compliments! Tourists were wanting to take photos with me. Great fun and not to mention I can dress it down with a pair of combat boots and waist belt or something :) oh! I mentioned the weight loss because when ya lose that much from being that heavy, that gobs of loose skin on the upper arms making sleeves like this with elastic tight and painful. Well, I’ve YET to have that issue with Belle Poque clothing. It works for masquerading, for gothic wear, to saloon girl in 1875, this dress works for all occasions. And definitely use Belle Poque’s sizing and NOT Amazon’s!

I loved this dress it's made well and good quality fabric, I love this brand and I have a few other dresses by them. Definitely a good purchase!

I'm 5'2, 143 lbs and this dress fit perfect in a sz Med. Not too tight, not too loose, very comfortable. The only issue is that the ruffle on one sleeve sticks straight up, so hopefully some steam or an iron will fix that. Otherwise it's perfect!

This was a fantastic buy at $19.99! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.The only issue I had was with the ruffles along the straps until I figured out how to turn the seams inward to keep them from sticking up.I'm 5'9", 153 lbs. and the size L fit just right.

The perfect dress /costume. The material is a good quality cotton /poly blend. It is very well made with a ribbon panel in the back for adjusting the torso area. It also gives you the option of raising the front of dress at the sides , with pull ribbon so you can raise both sides to your liking , giving the dress an old saloon girl look. I hope I can get back in this review and post a picture of it later. But I HIGHLY recommend this purchase !!!!!

I liked this dress. It fit well, but just didn’t work for me. I’ve had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer and sizing is hard. I would recommend for anyone else. Quality was good, again just didn’t work for me.
