Clever. Takes the hassle out of trying to find your bulbs.
I bought 5 sets of these for a flower bed that gets changed around often each season.I wanted to put a display of tulips down this year but need them to be taken up again in late Spring / early Summer as I don't want them to 'naturalise' in this location. Plus as these Tulip bulbs were expensive I didnt want to lose any in the soil.So this was a perfect solution. They fit plenty of bulbs - I put 10 tulip bulbs to each basket.I also fitted a basket each into two corner shaped planters on my deck which was great...so now I've two matching planters with bulbs coming up in Spring. And there will be no hassle changing these out for a Summer display.Looking forward to seeing the results next year.I imagine it is very easy to figure out where each basket is for taking up. Just run your finger along under the soil until you feel the edge then take a hold and pull the entire basket up. Easy.I'm also thinking that while you're planting your new summer bed, you could even leave the fading Spring bulbs aside out of sight somewhere else in the garden still in their baskets of soil to allow the leaves to die back slowly. Plus you could water them with a weekly feed of fertiliser. The foliage will then have the best chance to take up the last of the suns energy before storing them away for Autumn. No waiting around for the bulbs to be ready to be pulled up.It would be great if these come in a rectangular shaped basket also, as that would interest me, so you can plant in very straight rows for certain planting designs. (Perhaps they do - I just didn't see any)

great size and well made
I am going to make up both of these with the bulbs I had just bought and as a present, the bulbs would need planting straight aways if i just sent them as a present and with the weather getting worse they would find it hard to get them planted on time so this is the next best thing. i cannot wait to see how they look when the bulbs are in flower. i would recommend these as you can plant them up earlier and the either put the basket in a pot or in the ground, after the bulbs have died back you can dig them up and store until next time and plant something else in their place or leave where they are.

Cant give 5 * until next year.
Every year I have planted Daffodil bulbs [1000] and lifted them in May to plant Dahlias in front of our house. Evry year more blind ones are produced. I bought these so that when I lift the bulbs in the spring the roots will be less disturbed and I can leave them for a few weeks to die back in these baskets. They look well up to the job. Correct size for me.Lets see how they fare next season. Yes I am buying them well in advance but I am safe then. 20 more on order having liked the first 8 recieved.

Very good quality bulb baskets
Very impressed with the quality of these bulb baskets I believe they will be very easy to remove once the bulbs I have planted have finished blooming. Very pleased I bought them.

Bulb baskets
My first experience with baskets when planting bulbs. These baskets seem sturdy, and I have planted up to 10 tulip bulbs in each. The size you choose may depend on how many bulbs you wish to plant and also how easy it is to dig down to put the baskets in your garden. At the moment, I would be inclined to order a slightly smaller size in future.

Good fit for the pots
These are very useful, fit well 15 cms down in the pots so plenty of room of room to put the bulbs in.
