Not great brushes sadly. I bought them for use while cake decorating and they are far too course for purpose. Gave them to the kids to paint with!

I purchased these brushes then I read the reviews which weren’t great so I wasn’t sure what to expect however all I did was soaked the brushes in warm water with a squirt of washing up liquid over night and they softened up a lot. Unless you are using the brushes frequently to justify buying expensive ones I would definitely recommend these.

Bristles don't stay together. When painting little details on a cookie they split and make it impossible for neat lines. No matter how wet the paintbrush was with paint it didn't make a difference

These are perfect brushes for doing the nitty-gritty decorating on cakes/icing. They are lightweight and easy to hold.My only issue is that the bristles/hairs from the brush started to fall out after the first use...which is definitely something I don't want in my cakes when I'm using them to add the finishing touches.

I wish I’d read more of the reviews before buying these. These are the first cake brushes I’ve purchased so unsure what to look for, but they looked exactly what I needed for a beginner. On arrival the box was damaged and the brushes exposed, not covered or anything which seemed a little unhygienic. The bristles were rock hard like they had been stored for years, so I gave them a rinse in lukewarm water as advised on the pack. However I was shocked that all this sticky glue type stuff came out of the bristles. It smelt like glue not sure what it was though, hence I didn’t use on my icing and threw in the bin. I will spend more money next time.
