JVL Heavy duty 4 piece luxury carpet rubber car mat set with anti slip backin

Good Quality, Bit smelly but worth for the price.

Great mats and good quality for the price. Really pleased with the value as the full set fit perfectly in my citreon C3 after a small trim, and definitely made the car look much cleaner. Rubber mats mainly stay in place- they slip a little, but nothing to worry about. Easy to install- simply trim with sharp scissors if required. Perfect for protecting the carpets and stopping them getting wet and grubby. Or, as was the case for me, perfect for hiding already grubby carpets! (The joys of used cars) I noticed concerns in other reviews about a rubbery smell, but I didn't get that at all. It may be because I had the mats lying in the spare room for a week or two before use, but I definitely did not notice a smell when I was in the car after I put them down.

I needed to replace my worn carpet floor mats and decided on rubber because it’s completely waterproof, easier to clean and lasts much longer.They say carpet mats look better than rubber ones but these look great because they have a small, subtle pattern so don’t look too utilitarian and blend in to the floor.They don’t move around much, only needing a slight adjustment every few weeks and they’re extremely tough – they seem like they’ll last forever without showing any wear.I took off one star because – and it’s the only negative – the rear mats are a bit too small. They should be about 1.5 times wider for full coverage even in my small 5-door car. Front ones are perfect size, though.Just note that when they’re new, they have quite a strong smell like petrol so I let them air out for a couple of days before putting them in the car. The smells quickly gets better and completely goes after about 2 weeks so no problem there.

I bought these going off some of the other reviews that they were heavy rubber and didn't slip. Sadly, not the case for me, they slip worse than the current carpet mats I have and am trying to replace! For the passenger seats they are great, and cut to size easily, disappointed for the driver as it's quite dangerous with how much they slip up behind the peddles! (have gone back to my carpeted one until I can find better replacement for driver side)

I bought these as a replacement set after the tailored carpet mats in my VW Polo wore through on the driver's side. I decided to opt for some rubber ones as they are much harder wearing and easy to clean - unlike carpet ones where the bits never fully come off! These are made from soft, flexible rubber unlike some of the hard plasticky ones I have seen elsewhere. The mats fitted well in the back and passenger footwells, but required a bit more trimming for the driver's side. They're by no means a perfect fit but can at least be used in another car in the future at some point. Overall very pleased for the money.
