DreamsceneGlitz Black Duvet Cover with Pillowcase Bedding Set, King Size

I purchased these duvet set for my bedroom as it has just been redecorated into a sort of glam french style, and these covers seemed like they would fit in well.Already I have gifted them to a friend as they just wasn’t what I expected at all.Now I can’t say that they are particularly bad in any way, they are just not what I expected from the photos.The material is more of the slidey variety for a start, not the soft cotton that duvet covers are generally made from. No, it’s the type whereupon the duvet itself does nothing but slide about inside the cover, usually ending up in bunched up mess that will regularly require fixing.It’s also a very thin material, something that could properly rip easily, I really don’t fancy the chances of it lasting well.You get what you pay for though I suppose in that regard, and for the cheaper price point they may be worth using if only temporarily, or perhaps in a spare bedroom.The design is basically an all black background with a diamond design throughout both the duvet cover and pillowcases (I ordered the king size which came with 2 pillowcases), but I don’t think the diamonds are particularly well done. They honestly resemble more like large polka dots, which doesn’t give such a classy look really.It looks better closer up though than from a distance, so in other words nicer when you are lying on/in it than from across the room.Like I said I pretty much had them on my bed for 48 hours before my other set arrived and I switched them. I don’t recall ever doing that before, but I really just wasn’t keen on how they looked. My friend seems happier though so it’s possibly just personal preference.

Great material, perfect for the price

I do love a bit of sparkle but this is not it also the design does not match the photo. In the photo the diamonds appear all over the duvet cover but in mine the majority are at the bottom also the design on the pillow cases looks a bit different. The material isn't the best for a great night's sleep, it's one of those bed sheets that if you sit on it once the whole bed looks like it needs to be remade. But at the end of the day when you consider the cost, there were bound to be some flaws, it's not the best but also not the worse so for the price paid I cannot complain too much.

The material is lovely & soft,lovely soft cotton.Very much value for money!

Its says what it is on the quilt cover but the only thing is that the fabric very thin and asked for a king size and to big for me king size duvetAll good on keeping the colour after washing too.

Well what can I say the material is awful! I have OCD and like everything to be flat with no lines so this my worst nightmare come true! I only ordered it because it was all I could offered as I had a new kingsize bed delivered today. The material is flimsy and doesn't feel nice at all. But I'm stuck with it until I can afford to buy better. I would recommend if you don't care that it slides everywhere and feels disgusting. Bit of a let down considering I have a new bed to see in tonight! Was realliy looking forward. Any who, it's OK for children I guess as they don't notice so much? Nice design I guess. I haven’t put this on the bed yet. I have washed it. As with another set I bought, I thought I was ordering 100% cotton, but this is 100% polyester. Thin material. Washed and dried ok. Kept its colour after first wash. Let’s see what it’s like after a few uses and washes.
