After trying numerous packing tapes over the years, this Rapesco tape has proven itself to be remarkably reliable and user-friendly. The 50mm width provides excellent coverage, while the generous 60-meter length on each roll means you're not constantly running out mid-project. What truly sets this tape apart is its superior adhesion – it grips immediately and stays put, whether you're sealing cardboard boxes for storage or securing packages for shipping. The clarity is exceptional too; it's genuinely crystal clear rather than the cloudy appearance you often get with cheaper tapes, making labels and box contents easily visible underneath.The real test of quality packing tape is how it performs during use, and this is where the Rapesco excels. It unrolls smoothly without that annoying splitting or folding over itself that plagues lesser tapes, and you can actually tear it by hand without it turning into a stringy mess. The durability is impressive – boxes sealed months ago show no signs of the tape peeling or losing its grip, even in varying temperature conditions. While it's priced slightly higher than budget alternatives, the frustration and time saved by not having to repeatedly re-tape packages makes it well worth the investment. The only minor quibble is that it would benefit from a better end tab to help locate the tape edge when you first start using it, but this is a small issue in an otherwise excellent product.

instead of finding scissors to awkwardly cut some sellotape, use this to quickly and easily dispense tape when needed. Was great for the Christmas presents. I regularly use it to seal cooked meat back into the packaging and back into the fridge for a later time. Proving handy in the kitchen. You may also need to send out the odd parcel or box and the handle makes it ergonomic to break off tape with one hand...Of course where it will really shine is in a warehouse environment where boxes are abound, on goods inwards, checking the accuracy and type of stock, ready for pickers and then distribution out into the worldYou might want it if you're moving house, to make up some flat pack boxes. Overall I think it's a great tool to have and better than a desk dispenser. The days of trying to find the edge of stuck down sellotape are truly over. It's fairly priced and relatively sturdy enough to be trustworthy for it's intended use. You won't regret having one.

Great packing tape. Does what it should and at a reasonable price.

I use this for covering a board that I’m using for resin projects. It adheres well to a dust free surface and stays put until you pull it off when your finished. It has never lifted due to the moisture or heat from the resin so I can rely on the seal staying intact. The tape is not easily torn so you can pull it taught before sticking it to the surface. There are cheaper tapes out there but they haven’t compared to this for what I use it for
