With the ends of the bars level the height difference between the centre of the bars and the end is about 65mm, however you would rarely set the bars level. I have mine raked at about 25 degrees which gives an approximation to a 1920s tourist riding position. With this alignment the central section of the bars is about 10mm below the saddle nose, the curves are about 60mm above the saddle nose and the ends are about 20mm below the saddle nose. Wrist position should be neutral. It took me several goes to get ideal adjustment. Remember that you can achieve a more aggressive (1930s sportive) posture by inverting the bars to give a shallow drop. For urban rides the alignment I have described is superb.

yes they are a comfortable option for me, as I can ride in a more upright position. It takes away the stress across my shoulders, and helps with less pressure on my hands, and less numbness. Bear in mind that the handlebars are not straight, and this alters the wrist position. Don't regret buying them. Good luck!
