Only if that jazz bass is a short scale. These fit perfectly on my Fender Mustang bass but that’s a short scale bass, I wouldn’t put these on anything longer than that.

Q: Will these fit an Epiphone Viola bass?

My research shows that the Epiphone Viola Bass is 30.5" in scale length and comes from the factory with 45-105 gauge strings. So yes, these will fit the viola bass' scale length perfectly. If you want the exact same gauge of strings, you want the "regular" 45-105 pack that is yellow in color. NOT the pink pack; the strings will be smaller in gauge and feel thinner. But the thinner gauge should technically work fine.

Q: Will these work on an Ibanez Mikro bass?

The mikro scale length is slightly shorter then the standard 30 inch short scale, but these strings will work.

It’s up to your preference. These should fit short scale basses and I’ve used several of these sets on my newer top loading Fender Mustang bass.
