Great extension to the base game!
We love this extension! It's easy to incorporate into the base game. Not too big, either. We've enjoyed the new cards and the addition play choices New Leaf adds. The train theme is just cute and fun. No need for other add ons with this one. 😉

Best Expansion to Everdell
Everdell is one of my favorite games. This expansion adds so much to the game without it feeling overwhelming or bogged down. The expansion is a great complement to what is already a fantastic game and gives you a bit more flexibility in game play. The additional critter and building cards are great. The addition of visitors as another point-scoring mechanism is also appreciated.

Tone of fun, a worthy expansion.
Our first expansion for everdell and it adds a ton of fun to our games, without being overly confusing or overwhelming. Highly recommend.

Excellent Expansion
After reading and watching many reviews, we decided to get this as our first expansion. This is an excellent addition! The new cards and train station add really interesting dynamics to the game. I would recommend this to anyone looking to expand from the base game.

I learned a lot about what life would be like if forest critters operated railroads, I think
Any good review starts with the shipping and I have to day this product shipped and it shipped in a nice crisp brown kraft box. It did not have any holes punched in the top, which was a good sign that it was what I ordered and not some live animal in a box that was mistakenly delivered to my door. Always check, because you don't want to inadvertently open a box with a live animal because 1) the animal doesn't belong to you 2) it would probably be very cranky even after 1-day Prime shipping, and 3) it can be very hard to get it back in the box. But I digress. The game was clearly shrinkwrapped by a master shrinkwrapper. I mean, whoever this guy was, he was an artisan. Nicely done, shrinkwrapper man! And the game? Well, it was a great game...nay, not a 'game' but an experience like no other! Where else can you send hedgehogs to fetch wandering first-class traveling bipedal woodland creatures to enjoy your Everdell societal delights and earn valuable game-winning points that are worthy of any LinkedIn post? No where, I say! The craftsmanship of the game was superb, par excellance,

Solid Expansion.
Solid expansion. I think the train mechanics are one of the best additions to the Everdell series of games. Highly recommended.

Some expansions over complicate. This one adds beautifully to the game without making it harder to play. It adds the right bonuses and useful cards.
