Easy replacement for a melted solenoid!
My GE Dishwasher quit draining. The internet said to look at replacing the solenoid and a shaft. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to replace it. The solenoid was easy to access at the front of the dishwasher. saved my self $$$ replacing a $30 part vs a whole new dishwasher.

Missing Parts
The pictures associated with the part says I’m that the solenoid comes with an armature and linkage. It does not. It will also not work with the existing armature and linkage.

Burnt and melted Solenoid
Even though the solenoid can work right, if you have a bad timer that gets stuck in the drain cycle it keeps applying current to the solenoid and it burns up and melts as you can see from the photo. So if your old solenoid looks like this then think about replacing your timer too.
