This little guy is such a champ. He’s been outside season after season and he’s still like the day I got him. I use him for dog poop and I couldn’t be more impressed. Lovely purchase.

I didn’t realize this was the mini version of these cans. It’s cute but not sure what I’d use it for. While the lid lock works the lid is loose so insects might be able to get under the lid.This would look cute in a kids room or to store small animal feed or small bags of bird seed. Definitely not big enough for avid bird feeders.

I am using this to store my bird seed in my shed. I was having an issue with varmits that dug a way into my shed, eating bird seed and grass seed. It took me a minute to figure out how to lock the lid (pull up the handle). Very substantial bucket and it has worked well for me.

I purchased this to store bird seed outside. I previously had a plastic locking lid container, and the squirrels (maybe with help from other critters?)eventually chewed through the plastic. This has worked really well so far. The “locking” is just when you move the handle upright — I was originally concerned that it might not be secure enough, but so far it has kept the seed dry and again no critters have figured out how to get in.

This is a zero-star review. For a "Rust-Proof" can, it sure does rust! I've used this for six months to store dry dog food on my covered porch. It is now headed for the trash (photo attached). It has rusted completely through and is ready to fall apart. You can easily poke your finger through the wall of the can. I've had galvanized trash cans last for forty years or more. This one only lasted a few months. Sorry to leave a zero review, as I like this company and have bought other products from them, but this must have been galvanized improperly. Of course, it's long past the return window. Edited to add: This is generally a great company. I've had a Behrens Oval Washtub that's been used and abused, stored outdoors in the rain, and used for everything under the sun, and it's as sound as the day I got it, about 40 years ago. This can was just a bad batch, I'm sure.
