Gelante100% Cotton Stone-Washed Adjustable Bucket Safari Boonie Sun Hats

So I bought this hat to replace another Boonie hat I got at Target on an impulse buy. After receiving this hat, I returned my Target purchase because I liked this one so much. First of all, the all cotton construction is with quality fabric that has heavy duty stitching to reinforce the brim of the hat and other pressure points. The inside has no liner, which makes it extremely comfortable to wear and breathable for your noggin. The brim of the hat is 3 1/4" wide, which provides ample shade when out in the sun. The button downs are riveted to the hat and seem durable, with the back of the male button being located just under the headband inside the hat, which means no irritation of your head. All in all, I am pleasently surprised at the design, quality, and durability of the hat. Highly recommended for a yard-work or beach hat that keeps your head cool and the sun out of your eyes.

Soft and better looking than the same old baseball hat. Recommended. Keep the sun off your head!

I am a petite woman with a big head. Amazon suggested I buy a S/M, (snort!) I bought three in L/XL and so glad I did. I bought cotton because it's natural and I will wash them, they literally shrunk two sizes! They fit a bit snug now, but they're cotton, they'll loosen a bit. Perfect fit! Only complaint is the brim is floppy. Not good. I need sun protection because I am very fair skinned. I had to also buy on Amazon a "brim stiffener", haven't used it yet, but it got good reviews. Price point is excellent and I'll probably buy more. In regard to sun protection; it's a relatively narrow brim, meaning it only keeps the sun off my face and neck when the sun is directly above. In morning or late afternoon, it's useless. Kinda common sense though, right?

I bought this hat for our Homecoming Safari dress up day. It fit perfect and stayed on all day. The material is perfect.

These Gelante 100% Cotton Stone-Washed Safari Booney Sun Hats are the Best, I have almost all the colors now. Sometimes I wear them with the sides snapped up, like a Western hat, but when the sun gets intense, I unsnap and wear like a bucket hat. Versatile, stylish, well-made, 100% UV blocking shade, very COOL cotton, and AMAZINGLY, the colors don't run, even when used in a chlorine pool, which was a huge surprise. They also have some shape to them, and don't get 'Floppy.' My hat size is medium, but the LG - XL fits with a little room to spare, which I find more comfortable. The sliding tie is handy when the wind springs up, or it fits under the hat nicely, if you don't need the tie down. GET SOME, you will absolutely LOVE these hats! I wish they had a light orange, or Peach color, also a darker peach color would be great too.

I have previously bought 5 hats because I use them daily. Now I bought 6 but something has changed in the way they fit. It seems like its too big on top of my head. The older hats fit perfect.

The hat is well made and 100% cotton. In terms of size I think that it probably runs small. I got the large/extra large size and it is snug. It is a lovely hat and exactly what I was looking for.

Have been looking forever for a hat like this in the stores with the draw string and could not find it anywhere. It is the perfect grey colour, super comfortable and fits great. It provides a lot of shade and is very stylish. Love it!

Kind of hard to get the right size, and it's just too frumpy--don't really like the look of it on my head.
