It works for what it is. The cost doesn't fit the price compared to other options.

This stuff is better looking than the vermiculite bag that came in my $800 gas log kit. I needed more and there was plenty in this bag. It helped to spread the propane flame more evenly, for more natural looking flames.

Good product and service

Was going to buy from my local hardware store. The price online here was cheaper. the bags were also larger than what I could have bought elsewhere. I have non vented logs put an old system that i'm going to have inspected before using this product.

Product was exact amount required to fill the pan on my 30” gas log set. Allows for an even flame spread and a clean look in the fireplace.

I used the vermiculite on my gas log fireplace, and what a beautiful, visual difference it made! Who knew? Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Replaced my old solution that looked like used hamster bedding. Looks great and glows where it touches the flame.

Works as designed. One caveat; 12oz bag of vermiculite is a LIFETIME supply of this product. Too bad it isn’t available in smaller quantities! This bag would work nicely for a fireplace contractor/wholesaler.

It works well in my gas fireplace, but I really needed about 1/4 of what they sent me, don't know what to do the leftovers?

Added to my propane fireplace and it looks great!
