Tub and Tile Refinishing Kit,Bathtub Sink Paint Reglaze Kit,Odorless Water Based

Refinishing kit included everything I needed! The plastic film with painter's tape already attached was perfect - it made taping off the area quick and easy. Mixture was very fluid and easy to paint on with extra soft bristle paintbrush provided. After a few applications with 2 hr drying time in between coats, my soapdish went from dingy and porous, to a bright and completely sealed finish! There was very low odor throughout the whole process, with clean up being quick using just soap and water. Loved this user-friendly product!

I completely expected this stuff to be a failure. I applied this to a tile floor in a shower. It's still going strong six months later.There is a tiny little dent or chip in it from a large soap dispenser that was mounted on the wall and fell off. Thankfully, it didn't spread or peel. You can really hardly see it.As I mentioned, I didn't expect this to work out at all. The floor was in rough shape and I just wanted it to cover and seal it. It was a small tile with grouted spaces. I probably did an Overkill on the prep but I wanted to give it every opportunity to work.I thoroughly degreased the entire surface and removed any loose bits of grout. I patched those areas and cleaned again. I used a heat gun to make sure everything was dry before I applied the paint. It was applied in several thin coats. Finally, I used a tiny bead of clear silicone around the edges just to make sure that no water was able to get underneath the paint. That probably wasn't necessary but I did it. All things considered, I couldn't be happier with the results.

I followed the directions and it looks great.

The paint is thick to where even the thinnest of layers is quickly gummed up by simple brushing. It took 6 coats, yes SIX, to get it to stop looking like trash and even then it was still very patchy. I had to use brushes b3vause the thickness of the paint just slopped it around if you used rollers and created peaks and points. The only thing in the kit that was even useful was the plastic cover with painters tap on one end. That actually came in handy.I let this paint sit untouched for 2 weeks and never used my tub, nothing. And the pic on this review is what simply running my hand across the surface did: created a HUGE hole where it all just started peeling. It's not doing that on flat spots, so I guess the paint simply cannot handle curves. This is by far the worst looking tub paint I think I've ever seen. And the kicker is that once you mix the paint, you have to toss it after 12 hours so you can't keep any around for touch ups. So if I want to fix this, I have to buy an entirely new kit which is just ludicrous for a tub that water hasn't actually seen yet and an additional week was given to cure.Shameful scam product. Save your money on a better brand or a professional.

I'm very happy with the outcome - BUT, there's a couple things to note.PROS:-Very low odor. I was really surprised. The description isn't kidding!-It dries pretty fast (although it needs time to cure).-The outcome is beautiful! (PLEASE NOTE: I have not tested long-term endurance. But, in the first week of use, it still looks awesome)CONS:-Coverage is not great until you use many coats (allowing each to dry between applications)-The brush will leave brush strokes, you'll need to take your time and then go over it with a roller to smooth it out-To get full coverage on 2 baths (one with 'half tile' going up the walls) it took 3 cans. With that said, it's still way cheaper than a professional job

Great Product

Works really well if you follow instructions. (Had professionally resurfaced, started peeling immediately and company started ignoring my calls after 1 redo.) Applied 3 coats, no issue with peeling, smell. Easy to use. Good coverage. Only complaint is you have to use it within a certain time period. Could not compete full tub, will have to buy a second can/tub because I expected to have more time to complete the resurfacing.
