Meat MitchWHOMP! BBQ Sauce, 21.0 Ounce | Kansas City Gourmet Competition Barbecue Sauce

Bought this after watching MeatChurch on YouTube and was not disappointed. One of my favorites and always have a jar!

Confession time: I'm a BBQ sauce snob. I'd say I generally don't like it at all. I've always been of the opinion that if your dry rub is right on your BBQ, you don't need sauce. If I did use sauce, it was one that I made myself. Anything from a bottle....pretty much crap, in my opinion. Overly sweet crap that took away from the taste of your BBQ. I only bought this bottle of sauce because I'm throwing a Super Bowl party, and I have enough other food to prepare that I didn't feel like making my own sauce too. I'd seen Meat Mitch's sauces spoken highly of by some pretty reputable BBQ folks, so I decided to order a bottle so my guests would have something with which to ruin all of my many hours spent at the smoker this weekend. Damn, was I wrong. This stuff is the best bottled sauce I've ever tasted, and it's not even close. A little sweet, a little spicy, and full of flavor. I just ordered the dry rub and mustard sauce too, in hopes that they'll be as good as this sauce. If you love BBQ sauce, buy it. If you're a skeptic like me, buy it. That's it, I was wrong, and I'm perfectly ok with that as long as being wrong tastes this good.

Very good but way over priced.

I am that guy that gets most excited for the weekend that has good sports on, so that I can throw some meat on the smoker, watch the Chiefs or Jayhawks, and practice my bbq skills. I say it's therapeutic. One of my best friends is an award winning competitor at the American Royal who has received a perfect score on brisket and believe me, when you know someone who is serious with competition you get to try everything. That being said I've tried so many sauces and I don't care what anyone says, this one has to take the cake. I'm shocked I just tried it honestly. Saw it on a Meat Church video on YouTube as I respect that guy a lot. Cracked open the regular whomp sauce, and man. I'm telling ya. Next I will open the spicy one which typically is my go to. I can't wait. Unbelievable sauce people, really. Worth the purchase.

I truly love this sauce but holy crap Amazon $17? Thankfully my local Publix sells this and I get bogo at $6.99 so yea. Love this stuff if it's the only way you can get it do it, but I'm sticking to getting my value as well as flavor.
