Pizza Peel - Gourmet Perfect Peel, 14X16X24 (8" Handle)

I love this peel. It's not only a beautiful, well made peel but it works great and is easy to store for it's size. I had a hard time finding a peel this size with a short handle so it would be easy to store. I was reluctant to pay $50 but it was worth it in the end. The peel is really nice and would look great displayed in your kitchen. I love being able to make larger pizzas now with my new peel and 18x18 stone.My peel warped after the first use. I contacted Baker's Board through their website and they responded within minutes. They offered to replace the peel even though I now feel like it was probably my fault for storing the peel on top of my stone which is on top of my fridge. The stone probably had moisture and the peel wicked it out warping the peel. Baker's Board was awesome they sent me a brand new peel along with some conditioner and stayed in constant contact offering help for storing and tips for trying to press the warp out of the original peel.Super happy with the peel and the awesome customer service. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat and definitely will recommend them to others. I think this would make an awesome gift for someone that loves to bake, they offer engraving as well!

I bought a GOURMET version 16 inch. It’s beautiful.I then bought the 14 inch GOURMET (made of cherry wood) version, and they shipped a duller, lower quality basswood version. It’s a pain to return, and it’s such a cluster, I don’t know how to get the right one.Update - I didn’t know one would arrive oiled and one unoiled. All I had to do was apply food grade mineral oil and it looks like the first one.

Truly this Baker's Board - Pizza Peel is the PERFECT ONE. I LOVE it.... the size, the smoothness and beauty of the wood, and the awesome style. I had one for over 20 years, and it is still going strong. I ordered another one, this one, thinking it looked just like the pizza peel I had. But when it arrived, it strangely cracked after one use.However, this company immediately replaced it and sent me a new pizza peel for free. AND I AM VERY VERY PLEASED with my new one, and very pleased with how fast this company took care of my order. I would definitely order this product again, and from this company. See the pics. I needed a good pizza peel to launch pizza dough into a small pizza oven. A lot are made of bamboo but this one, made of cherry, caught my eye. It also appeared to have a better beveled edge than others, which should make it easier to remove a pizza from the oven. Others seemed to be too thick at the edge. I was very pleased with what I received and it is a work of art as well as functional. I received it 2 days after ordering.

I needed a peel to get pizzas out of our counter top convection oven. This is a perfect fit, and stores alongside the oven for instant use. I oiled mine with mineral oil and will repeat this occasionally. Exactly what I needed!

Love this pizza board! I use it to slide my home made pizza onto after coming out of the oven. It’s lightweight and large in diameter as I make 16 inch pizza’s. I recommend keeping up with oiling it with mineral oil to help it from splitting on the end as my winters in the northeast dry everything out when a woodstove is in operation.
