Sew Steady Quilting Template 6 Piece Template Set (High Shank)

Have been learning free motion quilting with rulers with the beginner Westerlee set. It was a steep learning curve. Finally, felt comfortable and confident to order the 6 piece template set. It, too, will take a lot of practice; but, there a loads of videos on YouTube for Westerlee and this set to help. The templates are of good quality and fairly priced.

This is a nice selection for ruler quilting. Would suggest watching some online videos before ordering and would suggest purchasing individual curve as a starter rather than a whole set. Also note that you need a special foot to use this product.

Love this set. It is definetly the best value to try out ruler template quilting. It has plenty of different shapes that give a variety of designs. There included instructions and videos on youtube that show you how to use them. I have tried free motion quilting and end up getting frustrated and worn out from trying to quilt where I don't jog off the line. The rulers help keep me on the line and make me feel more confident in my quilting. You could also use these to premark your quilt with quilt marking pencils when if you feel confident enough to quilt without the rulers.

I got them in great shape in padded envelop in regular mail. I have not used them yet, but they are great quality like the ruler that came with the ruler foot (got separately).

This is an awesome starter set of quilting ruler templates. There are so many design possibilities, not just one for each of the 6 templates.Anyone contemplating ruler temp!ate quilting would be wise to purchase this particular set. You Tube has lots of videos using these templates. If, like me, you're not adept at FMQ these templates are the answer to doing our own quilting. I suspect those of us non-FMQers may require more practice to even our speed, stitch length, and learn proper hand placement. So make a bunch of plain muslin quilt sandwiches and have a blast!

I believe with this set I own all the ruler work guides I’ll need in my lifetime. My set will only work with my high shank machine which is a drawback, but my low shank machine is only strong enough for light sewing, piecing and maybe the walking foot on small pieces.This set is expensive, but less than I could purchase locally even on sale.This set will complete my collection of another brand & a kit by Westalee that is a starter for Janome.I purchased this based on an instructors review.

The rulers were too small .

I already had the low shank version of this set, but needed this one after I bought a new, high shank machine. I find it very useful and it’s a good value since you can do so much with it.
