My bad.
Bought it as a gift for my father. He likes it, although I didn't realize it's "Easy Guitar" because it didn't hit me in the face in the title...it was actually in the description (in parenthesis) that I guess I over looked. My bad.

Trying to put an end to the big confusion
You will read several reviews complaining about this or that version of the book at Amazon. What you will not see is are satisfying answers to the questions "which version is the one I'm looking for?" (clearly, because this depends on your particular "what") or "which is the version that transcribes accurately what's in the album?" In the attempt to find the authoritative answer to the second question, and to answer somewhat obliquely the first, here's some data that I have found helpful.A visit to[...], which is the publisher of these books. shows that there exist FOUR versions and possibly, they are all different, though I can't be 100% sure of that.1) Eric Clapton - Unplugged, Series: Guitar Recorded Version TABArtist: Eric ClaptonISBN: 9780793520848112 pagesList price: $22.95-> "Matching folio to his best-selling acoustic album."2) Eric Clapton - From the Album Unplugged, Series: Signature Licks Guitar, Softcover with CD - TABArtist: Eric Clapton, Author: Wolf MarshallISBN: 978079358792672 pagesList price: $24.95-> "Learn the techniques Clapton used on his best-selling acoustic album"3) Eric Clapton - Unplugged, Series: Piano/ Vocal/ Guitar Artist SongbookArtist: Eric ClaptonISBN: 978079352715172 pagesList price: 15.95-> "Matching folio to his best-selling acoustic album."4) Eric Clapton - From the Album Eric Clapton Unplugged, Series: Easy GuitarArtist: Eric Clapton40 pagesISBN: 9780793536160List price: $10.95-> "Matching folio to his best-selling acoustic album."It seems to me that only one of these will be the note by note transcription of the album and that it should be (1). It seems also that it's less than honest of Hal Leonard publishers to state that (1), (3), and (4) are the "matching folio". Since the physical dimensions of the books are all identical, if they were to have the same content at 112, 72, and 40 pages, the font sizes would have to be increasingly smaller from (1) to (4). If you are to trust the names of the series of each of these books and the description in the Hal Leonard web pages, it stands to reason that:(1) has the music as it appears on the Clapton CD(2) doesn't have the note-by-note transcriptions of full songs, but rather focuses on teaching techniques (note that it's authored by Wolf Marshall, who deconstructed the music so that you can learn how it is played, more than just what is played for each song(3) has more than just the music for guitar, possibly including the melodies for vocal and piano(4) has simplified versions more suitable to a beginnerIt may very well be that (1) and (2) are complementary books and that, if you're a beginner guitar player, (4) is the way to go.

For advanced guitar players
Hard to play for the beginner, more for the advanced guitar player. Has tabs but too hard to pick, when you're not trained to be a guitar picker. Love Clapton, but another dust collector for me.

Simple but still good enough
A bit on the simplistic side like other reviewers commented on, though worth the price.

Craptastic
This is a terrible book. Don't waste your time. 15 years ago, I had a book that had the tab for the whole Clapton Unplugged set. I lent it to someone and never got it back. I bought this after seeing the cover and thought it was the same book. It is not. When I first received the book, I opened it to the song "Hey Hey". The tab presented is NOT the way to play this song correctly. I can deal with the fact that this book doesn't have the complete song, and every note, but please .... you need to at least show the right way to play the riff. The song "Running on faith" is poor; when I heard it last time, Clapton was playing slide. There does not appear to be slide guitar tab in the book. I haven't even sat down with my guitar yet; this is just from looking at it. Just in case anyone from Amazon reads reviews, your returns department will be getting a call soon..

Inferior Product - Avoid
These are not the tabs you want. I don't know why Hal Leonard would even publish this.

Disappointing
If you purchase a book like this you do so because you want to play some or all of the pieces. Sadly, you will struggle to learn all of even one of the pieces as the authors haven't seen fit to provide the intros to each piece - quite an oversight. If you just want the lyrics, fine. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Useless
I feel cheated buying this book. No tab for any solos a complete waste of money. Save your cash and go on you tube.
