How does light remove hair? How does the hair growth cycle
influence ?

The device targets the hair with light pulses. The melanin
pigments in the root of the hairs absorb the light and this
creates heat. The light pulse deactivates the hair follicles deep
down in the skin to prevent any further growth of the hair. In
this process, please be aware that hair on your body progresses
through the three phases of the hair growth cycle: the anagen
phase (growth phase), the catagen phase (transitional phase) and
the telogen phase (resting phase). Only hairs that are in the
anagen phase respond to with the SalonPro System.
Therefore, it is important to note that multiple s with
the Beurer IPL SalonPro System are needed to treat all hairs. A
complete hair growth cycle is required to fully remove all hair.

Application period – how often must I use the SalonPro System?

Regular application of the SalonPro System achieves the best
results. If you are ing at complete hair removal, you can
reduce your body hair by 50% after completing 3-4 s
carried out every two weeks, followed by 3 s carried out
every 4 weeks. Then apply as required. For facial s, you
can achieve the best results with 6 s carried out every
2 weeks, followed by further s every 4 weeks (zoom into

The Beurer SalonPro System is equipped with an integrated 2 in 1
skin type and skin contact sensor. Hair removal with IPL is not
suitable for a naturally dark skin tone or heavily tanned skin.
The SalonPro System is equipped with a skin type sensor that
measures skin pigmentation before each light pulse and, for your
safety, the device will only emit light pulses if the skin
pigmentation is suitable. At the same time, the skin contact
sensor protects your eyes by ensuring that light pulses are only
emitted when the light area is in full contact with your skin.
The integrated UV filter also protects your skin from harmful
rays. The Beurer ProSalon System is suitable for a variety of
skin and hair types. It can be used on (naturally) dark blonde,
brown and black hair and on light to medium skin tones. It is not
effective on very light or grey hair and is unsuitable for very
dark skin tones.

Using the Beurer SalonPro system is simple – first, ensure your
skin and hair type are suitable for . It is also
important that your skin is not sun-burnt or heavily tanned at
the time of . Then prepare for by shaving the
corresponding areas. Once the device is plugged in, switch the
unit on and select your appropriate energy level. For ,
position the applicator flat on the area with the
handle at a 90 degree angle and press the trigger button. Press
