HeritageWomen's Mackintosh Open Rose Sterling Silver Stud Earrings

I had already bought my wife for her birthday a couple of handbags (she couldn't choose between them) in Belagio on Lake Como on a recent holiday. However, I could not let the actual big day pass without a stocking-filler present, to mix metaphors. She told me she would like some silver earrings so, without much hope, I turned to faithful Amazon, supplier of last resort (actually, it's usually supplier of first choice). A search turned up these - oooh, they looked fine on the website so I ordered them. Their prompt arrival meant I could check them over first for signs of tackiness but they seemed really nice to my untrained eye. Well, Management was delighted on the big day and has worn them practically ceaselessly since. So, a cracking choice and strongly recommended, particularly if the wearer like the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

These ear studs are of good quality and look nice in their box. However, the stem on each stud is off-set (not a fault) so when the ear studs are in my lobe, they can slip down/around and out of position. With a small lobe like mine, this makes the studs look somewhat odd as one or both can suddenly re-position and overhang the edge of my lobe(s). I shall not wear them because they do not suit me owing to the position of the stem, but there is no fault with them.For someone with a bit more surface area across their lobes, these would look great even if they slip, but they're not right for me.

I'm very fond of Rennie Mackintosh designs in furniture and housewares as well as jewellery, so was drawn to these earrings with their iconic rose design. I wanted them to wear as everyday items, and as they are small and neat they look fine. I have a couple of Heritage bracelets and also a ring, of differing designs, and these earrings go well with all of them.I used to find I reacted to silver earrings in the past, but I think these must be of superior quality as I have had no problems.

These are beautiful earrings. They were actually bigger than I expected, but they are just what I was after as I have this style of ring too. I've been trying to find a matching pair of earrings to go with my ring for years and here they were. They are really pretty and extremely comfortable to wear. I have no problems lying on them in bed. Gorgeous pair of earrings. Very Happy.

Earings good quality and nicely presented in little box. Only problem was that one of the earings was really stiff to put through butterfly. Other than that perfect. Well pleased.

The earrings come in a classy deep purple box, which is excellent when they are a gift for someone - I personally hate it when jewellery is presented on a piece of card.The earrings themselves are very pretty with good strong butterfly backs that don't slip. Very pleased with these and good for the price.
