They run real fast and they get hit, but you can control them with any Motor driver.

Nice but needs a little more current, not for single Solar cells.

The media could not be loaded. At $0.50 each, I didn't have high expectations for these motors. I got what I expected. They are the essential DC motor - maybe good for take-aparts for a science class. I wouldn't install them in anything. The brushes are extensions of the connector metal and if you move the connection, you move the brush and change the speed of the motor. The commutator is not copper. I'm not sure why but these motors don't hold speed at all (see video). I ran several at 5V with no load. They were all smoking and slowing down after about 5 minutes and were too hot to touch. The endcap that hold the brushes is probably nylon but the hole for the motor shaft is a bit tight and may be why the motor can't hold a steady speed. They might be fun motors to re-wind for higher torque but the steel commutator will be a problem at higher currents.

The first picture is of the advertised product. The second picture is what was actually sent. A significantly inferior and cheap motor. Do not be fooled and purchase the deceitful product.

It’s overall okay. Does overheat fairly quick

Overheated and broke down after just 10 min of use.
