Little bit of work and some bearings and got it to fit
1 inch neck. So installing on a metric bike took some modifications and parts

Well built springer
Bought for my 1999 XL1200C chopper build. It's heavy duty. Had to make a bushing because the pin was longer than my neck and had to make wheel spacers because it's set up for a wide glide wheel not narrow, but all that is understandable considering it's marketed as universal fit. One thing to consider also the risers mount from the top not bottom like the stock risers. Couldn't find metric all thread . Ended up cutting the head off the bolts to the risers I ordered to make my own bolts. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner or weekend warrior builder unless you want a good challenge but all in all very good product for the money

I ordered in chrome and it came it black, I put this on my 1975 IRONHEAD project and it looks sick.
The media could not be loaded. Older sportsters have 5 inch neck this is designed for 7 inch necks on the frame. Pretty solid, also be ware you’ll have to fabricated or buy double sided threaded bolts to mount handlebars on the top. All in all I recommend for 400$ can’t beat it for a springer front end. Still a bit upset it came in black but I was so excited to continue my build I didn’t want to deal with sending it back.

Need a spacer for shaft or do I use the set screw to make it shorter?
Shaft is a bit too long. It’s on a Poughco chopper we r frame 75 Sportster. Everything is tight but I can move the springer up and down. Should I use the set screw to lower it. Never done that before. Do you have a spacer I can put under the top nut?
