Easy to use and very effective. I used it on a set of boots, it took two coats of dye but one bottle was enough and results are impressive.

It says on box that it is not suitable for suede even though the headline ad is for leather and suede! However, I used it on pale blue suede shoes as planned and it has worked extremely well - I would say they look dark blue rather than black but that is fine and I was warned it would not necessarily be black if done on a pale colour.

I must have used 10 coats over a couple of days on some dark brown ankle boots (ended up using the whole bottle). Despite using white spirits to clean them first, and using a better brush than came in the pack, they still look brown. This was worse than doing nothing because the boots are now unwearable as they are blotchy with black.

I brought this product to dye a pair of timberland light tan casual shoes black. For a relatively small bottle, there are many applications worth in it. I think I covered the shoes 5-6 times but at the end, they were more of a dark tan than a black. Fortunately, I like the colour so am not too dissapointed. I had dyed these shoes previously so maybe that was the reason why it didn't work completely but I think on another product, this dye would work quite well.

I didn’t realise it would be so easy to change the colour of my shoes at a very reasonable price too. First I used the sponge that was included with the dye but I changed it for an old clean make up brush and found that worked better for me. The coverage was smooth and even. This means I can buy any bargain shoes and change to a colour that suits me. I recommend it to anyone.

this is the first time I have tried to dye shoes and I thought it should be simple! The shoe colour to be covered was red and as I was using black I thought it should cover easily. They looked great when the dye was wet, however three coats later my wife now has a pair of dark bronze shoes.I am intending to persevere and apply further coats to see what happens.

The dye is easy to use but put newspaper down and use gloves as it is quite runny.I bought it to cover some light brown ankle boots that weren't leather but it seems to have worked and am pleased with outcome

Does a really great job! I think there is enought in the bottle for 2 to 3 pairs of shoes. It's important to shine the shoes after they have been dyed.The only thing I am not happy about is that the dye fades if the shoes are wet in the rain.
