I failed the first time so I ordered this and what a game changer how they explain it all. Also love how they stick to one topic fully instead of how pass perfect did it which was horrible and confusing.

This manual added the details to concepts that wasn’t covered in the series 7 manual that came with registration of test. It broke down the concepts into terms and examples that made comprehension much easier. This was a very worthwhile investment. Would recommend to use with the course manual. This manual along with 1 month of study assisted me to successfully pass the series 7 after 1 try!

Be careful! This book is not up to date despite saying 2024-2025. For example, it states settlement for stocks is still “T+2” but that is how it used to work. It’s now T+1. There are other areas where information is also not updated, so I don’t advise using this book to study for the exam. Find one that is actually up to date so you can trust the information you are reading. Good luck!

I mean, I passed, but that is the only positive thing I can say regarding this book. My series 7 lapsed in 2021 after a change in employment causing me to retake the exam last week. If I had taken this exam without several years of industry experience, I highly doubt I would've passed. While this book highlights the major themes, it is insufficient in preparing you for the exam. There were a dozen or so questions on the actual exam where the subject matter was not even mentioned in this book.

The authors don't update changes to the exams online so you are not being tested on the most up to date information. It's not worth risking failing to Exam over their laziness.
