Yeah, these are all too expensive. But at least some of them actually work pretty well, and this is one of those. The nozzle did a good job of spraying and the coarseness adjustment on it worked well.This oil based version dries very fast.As to coverage: Not much. This small can was used to add somewhat fine orange peel to a single re-taped wall corner...just a fairly few seconds of spraying a light spray...and it was about half used up. That was probably 6 sq ft., so where they get their 55 sq ft number on the item description is a mystery.

I had several spots on my wall which needed repair from a picture hanging strip which didn't come off cleanly. The texture on the wall came off with the sticky part of the hanging strip. I used this orange peel spray to cover up the damage. It worked much better than I expected and only took a minute to apply. As others have mentioned, the smell is very strong. I wouldn't say it "stinks" (it smells like paint spray) but it is very strong. Just apply it when you will not be in the room for several hours and you'll be good to go. For my application area, the smell was gone in about three hours.

I am selling my house, the buyers wanted television mounts removed. Along with this I decided to also remove security cameras and wire tracks to secure and hide cabling. I have always just patched the hole and painted but wanted to give the buyers a more quality job.I saw this product at the local hardware box store in a larger size for double the amount and felt it was too much for what I needed, hence I ordered this.Directions are simple. Almost too simple. Made it sound too good to be true. The end product was literally amazing. After filling the holes with putty, applying this product per the directions, and painting one would never know anything was mounted on the walls.This product comes highly recommended from an avid DIYer

Works well - you will need a lot, even for a small area. Only giving a moderate rating because it’s difficult to tell the style of texture needed & this didn’t work for me... you also HAVE to prime after use to keep the paint from easily chipping off.

Be careful when spraying..this can literally shoots droplets of paint everywhere and make a huge mess...there was more spray on everything else except for what it needed to be on.. l don't recommend this product

Bought this product to retexture the drywall around a new shower; it sprayed pretty well!Until it ran out after about 6 square feet. I checked the bottle which claimed a coverage of 50 so... maybe I just got a dud can?Then there was the smell. If you like inhaling VOCs, this is the product for you! For myself, I wasn't super thrilled that it fumigated the house for two days (and that was with the vent fan running).All told, the product _worked_, but I think I'll explore quite a few other texturing options in future projects before I loop back to this one.

Used this product on a wall repaired during my AC installation. It was so easy to use, and it dried very fast. I was able to paint the area in ten minutes. My wife was so happy when she came home to see the finished project. I recommend this product for sure!!!
