perfect in the heat
We had this fitted in the bedroom yesterday. With the hot weather we have had, we had a brilliant nights sleep last night thanks to this fan. I bought the IR remote that comes seperately and do think it is essential to be able to control the light and fan without getting out of bed. I got an electrician to fit it for me, but after seeing him do it I think I will have no problem fitting the next one I have bought for the living room myself. It is just a case of removing the light fitting from the ceiling and screwing the fan base to the joist the light was atatched to and then assembling.I do think the fan is a thing of beauty, so much so I bought another the day after I saw it fitted.Was also swayed by the fact that that in the winter you save money on heating by reversing the fan and blowing the hot air from the ceiling down to warm the room.

bulb arrived broken
I had electrician here yesterday to fit your fan. He was very unhappy as the fitting instructions were very unclear - there was no check list for parts , so he had no idea which bits to put where - therefore it took him almost 3 hrs to fit, which will cost me far more than the cost of your fan! Also I had to drive to shops to buy a bulb as yours arrived broken. I would appreciate it if you could post me a replacement bulb please

Classy and Funcional
Happy with with to replace my old one that was getting tired. It was a bit of faff to put up and it took me 2 days but then again I am not a DIY fan. However I meticulously went through the excellent instructions and it worked first time. (Very good for me so shows how good the instructions are). The light is nice and bright and the fan rotates at 3 speeds. Not tested yet in any sort of heat as its winter but early signs showing good. Only 4 stars because of not testing in the heat.
