SAMSUNG ME11A7510DG 1.1 Cu. Ft. Black Stainless Smart SLIM Over-the-Range Microwave

Absolutely what I was looking for! I have cupboards over my stove. I Looked a long time for a shorter in height microwave to give me more space for cooking. This is perfect. It hooks up to Wi-Fi easily. WiFi wasn’t on my wish list, it’s a bonus. The only downfall is if you are short since it sits higher normal. I’m 5‘6“ and have no problems. The vent fan has four speed settings versus the normal three, another bonus. It has settings for all kinds of things, including baked and sweet potatoes! The turntable can be turned off. It is as wide as a normal microwave, just shorter. Even with shorter height, I have no problems putting a full-size plate with a dome cover over the plate. I honestly can’t think of a function one would want that this one does not have.

This microwave is so much more than I thought it was when I bought it. It is absolutely amazing. It works with Alexa and is Wi-Fi compatible. You can tell Alexa to set a certain amount of time and power level and all source of things. It also works with the SmartThings app, which I already had and is a very good app. It has recipes for all sorts of different entrées that I haven’t really checked out too much yet, but it’s there. It was super easy to install. Super easy to use very quiet and it fit perfectly for what I needed. I love that. The light on the inside is bright enough that you can actually see what’s going on. As far as value for the money goes, I got it on sale, but I would say it’s worth it at regular price.I need a microwave that was only 10 or 11 inches in height because I don’t have enough clearance from my range for a normal size microwave. So this one still has a ton of space on the inside. It’s just not tall like countertop microwaves.It really confuses me why they do not explain all of these features in the product description and pictures and what not??This was the second microwave. I returned the first one because it was a piece of junk. There are three microwaves on Amazon at the moment that fit the space I wanted and are about 10 inches in height. This is definitely the clear winner as the other two are only 1000 W microwaves!! When have you ever seen anything say “Cook with 1000 W microwave”? Everything cooks at 1100 W. The manufacturer recommended I add six seconds for every minute, so I tried that. It does not work. Pot pies come out like mush. If you’re looking for the size of microwave, you have found the one. Stop looking and just buy this one! …. My watch notifies me whenever the microwave is done too. It says your food is ready!!

We hung this microwave up Sept of 2023 it broke a couple mos later it wouldn't heat anymore we only used it a couple months so they send a technician which took 4 weeks for us to get a technician out. So they fixed it not heating. Within 2 weeks the loud exhaust fan part started randomly coming on in the middle of the night and waking us up so after several nights being woken up and sometimes the buttons don't work when pushed and we get error codes A- something and it just acts up like itll also cycle through the exhaust fan while you're heating up food it'll start at 4 then go 3 2 1 off then 4321 off and while your heating food and sometimes you can't even push the buttons they don't register. So we contacted Samsung and they said to unplug it... Safely hazard they said could start a fire... Anyway the technician comes out today 03-05-24, after we waited 4 weeks and it would not come on or act up in the 5 mins he was here so Samsung won't do anything unless it acts up WHEN a technician is here lol RUN away from this microwave. I read all the bad reviews before purchasing and I thought it wouldn't happen to me. Well I guess we're out $400 on a less than one year old microwave. Samsung won't stand by this product they act like we're lying about what happens completely at random lol

Function panel has no light. You don't realize how important that is until it isn't there.

Works great. No issues so far. Is a bit of an install job. But very happy with it.

When it arrived it didn’t have an owners manual or the installation template. I downloaded the manual but definitely need the template. I contacted the manufacturer and I’m still waiting for the template, so I don’t know how it works or if I’m otherwise satisfied. Disappointed at the moment that it’s still sitting on the floor.
