Fits as expected

Listing says it will fit the Honda GX160.It doesn’t fit well and it DOES NOT WORK.The coil seems to be much longer than the OEM one. It causes binding, limits the pull and doesn’t allow the cord to be pulled back into the unit properly.The diameter of the unit as it’s packed won’t allow you to just slip it into the GX160 recoil housing. You’ll have to unroll (dangerous) and re-reroll it into the housing. Very inconvenient.I installed this according to the OEM directions.The quality actually seems good. The packing was fine.This may work fine for other engines.

The inside bend intended to catch on a plastic tab in the starter (of my GCV160) was too long. I didn't realize it at first and nearly ruined the spring. Once I broke off the excess the spring fit appropriately and it now is working as expected.
