Update: I returned this battery and asked for a replacement. The second one I received seems to be working much better.As another reviewer said, even though this is an OE Samsung battery, it doesn't last any better than the 5 year old battery it is replacing. After talking for 25 minutes, and sending a couple of texts, this brand new battery is at 66%! With the original battery I could talk for hours, and still have 85% or more left. Very disappointed.

I really should have listened to the reviews and bought somewhere else. I bought 2 and a universal external battery charger so I could always have a charged battery ready, since my original battery was starting to get old. One will only charge and hold about 80% even though the charger says fully charged. When I turn on my phone that battery will only display 80% and it will die at a higher percentage as well, sometimes when its as high as 20-30%, it will still just heat up suddenly then shut off. After a month or so it only lasts a few hours at best so it was a waste of money and a likely safety concern due to the overheating. The other battery I received is much thicker then the others which I believe means it's swollen from use. It still fits but the back barely closes. They also cause some apps to misbehave and images and links do not appear, or appear and disappear. My original battery never does any of this and there are some other reviews warning about this happening, so I'm confidant in attributing it to the batteries. I think they've been altered in some way, I wouldn't recommend. Most likely not new batteries at all.

I was very happy, when I received my battery I popped it right into my phone , it was at 4 %, and my phone was still on , I put the charger on and I could still use my phone, with my old battery it kept dying at 65% ,now i trust it past 65% , I thought I was going to have to buy a new phone , but not anymore , I'm so glad! I don't have to take my charging cord to work anymore , now my battery last all day ! And I work 12 hours, this was so annoying having it due at 65% every day , now no more worries!
