there's a disproportionate amount of reviews on the back of discounted or free items. I don't know about you, but i'm very skeptical of these and i think they dilute all honest reviews. Anyway for what it's worth here's an honest one:I think the item is neat, the light is not super bright but by no means dim. I would've given it 4+ stars if it wasn't for the price. I think 20 is a bit much for it, so better grab it on a deal. If it had at least a rotating option it might've justify 20.If your kid seems captivated by lights and stares at them at every opportunity, then this would certainly be a hit, just be mindful of the price.

This has been a huge hit. The stars are lovely and quietly cycle through three lovely colours of gold, blue and green. We have a low ceiling in baby's room so the are wonderfully clear and he loves watching them. At first I thought I was disappointed that they didn't move, but in fact our baby can suffer from overstimulation so I'm glad they are still. The only negative comment is that the sound quality is very low so we never use it and opt for our separate music box instead which sounds a lot better.

It works pretty well,pity it doesn’t rotate when it projects the stars (my son had one by Fisher Price,I think,which rotated and played a lullaby,but this was 29 years ago) I have searched in vain for a similar light.The stars and colours are fine and a couple of the sounds,otherwise the lullaby is very poor sound as is the ticking clock.

My friend recommended this for my 3 month old baby. I didn't expect much as it wasn't too expensive. I was wrong - it is such a brilliant light. Fab for helping keep baby calm but also would have been great in our after-party all nighter days! The stars a bright for such a small machine. I just wish you made one that was USB / mains operated.

Great product. I've now bought this product four times: for my own children who are 3 and 7 and twice for presents. All of the kids love it! The stars are projected strongly and clearly in a medium sized room and change colour every few seconds. We also have another light projecting brand (the turtle animal) but this item is far superior in terms of the strength of the projection. It's very relaxing and it also has the option of adding sound too - I think there is a choice of 3-4 sounds. Would highly recommend!

We have bought a number of products by venture for our car (car seat protectors, tray & kick mats) but wasn't happy with this one.The build quality is good and the light/star effect was also good but we were not happy with the quality of the melodies.This product is not for us but don't let this put you off their other products.

This is bigger than I expected but produces a decent amount of stars which can be set to gradually fade in and out, in different colours. There is also a good selection of different noises to go with the light show. My only criticism would be that the stars don't move ( but the different colours project in different places)and the sounds are a bit tinny but the kids love it and my 3yr old and 12 week old were both mesmerised!!

It's ok ....would have been better if the light was moving .instead of been still .
